i think it is not such a difficult job you can do it very simply, you can exchange bitcoin into your local currency in exchange and then can also buy bitcoin if you feel that it is the good time to do so.
Yes , but it has a risk behind them . Especially you sell it in online sites , who knows you would be get scammed or it's just fake sites to stealing your money . But , as long as you sell it in the right place and has a good reputation you should be fine .

In online ever where you can find scammers so when you want to buy or sell something always should go with reputed sites even though they may charge a slightly higher fee for the transaction. You can find trusted sites list on this forum to trade. Don't ever trade on any new sites just to avoid transaction fees.

If you want to trade the bitcoin, it is better to go to the top 10 exchanges. They are much safer than smaller ones.

If you don't want to go for much verification, then I think the best you should go for would be Localbitcoins.com
You can also try Coinbase, Kraken, Bitfinex, Bitstamp, etc. but localbitcoins is best according to me, but sell online and don't go for offline trades...
You can also sell them here using escrow here...

just create account in coinbase or any other site,  there you can buy and sell  your bitcoins in seconds so that is pretty good site for newbies that wants to buy/sell like yiu

It seems that is a good way to make money. But most traders will lose money if they are not skilled.

What is the point of this poll? You're asking if people prefers to sell or hold? Well, you should have included, 'both'. People sell some while hold some. Personally, I mostly use bitcoin as a currency. I use it to buy things, to invest, for gambling, and I also sell some. If the price goes up, then great.
As for how to sell coins, you can use your local exchange or localbitcoins. You'll need to verify your account when using local exchanges and for localbitcoins, you find a seller in your country and make a deal with them.

You question confuse me. Because in the start you ask us to hold the bitcoins or sell it, So mostly people prefer to bitcoin hold it, and in the thread you ask us, how to sell the bitcoin? you should ask in detail. But as i can understand about OP, it is depend on your country where you are living. If you tell you country name than someone help you.

First you need to tell us where you live. Then it will be easier to recommend you some service. You have section here, you can offer to sell it to someone from here. Localbitcoins is also a good place, there you can find someone near you. If you have pay pal or some bank credit card you can sell your coins on some exchanger.
All this ways are good, and people use it depending what is safest way in their opinion. I recommend you to wait a bit more before selling, price can go up before new year, many of us here hope for that.

‘Read Read Read and Read and then do whatever you want’, this is what I advice to newbies.

You should research a lot before investing / selling your bitcoins especially if you are a beginner. You should not rely on a single opinion, spend as much as time for reading about various views.

You can start selling bitcoin by selling it to the reputed member here on bitcointalk to make yourself feel comfortable and then try other services.

I think localbitcoins is the most trusted site where you can sell your bitcoins. Whats more important here is that this site has users from all over the world and you can easily choose a trusted member from your country and even perform face to face transactions.

I think that also applies to other famous big bitcoin exchanges such as Coinbase or OKcoin or even the Poloniex.

Selling bitcoin is not at all difficult. Based upon the requirement or the profit margin expectations one needs to hold to reach particular price. After this one can start exploring different exchange websites and try making trade.

Try sell your bitcoins in yobit in my signature you can sell it their in any different currency..
If you want to withdraw it try this converter changer.com to perfect money and look in business partner that you can withdraw to your country..

i would always suggest against using yobit you may see them a lot on the forum but it is only because of their signature campaign. if you check out services disscussion boards also in altcoin you see a lot of users that are having a lot of problems with this exchanger. they have no support whatsoever and if you encounter a problem which you will, there is nobody to help you.

Where are you from, because buying online costs more because of the fees that exchanges have but buying in person or for cash is much more better, no verification needed and sometimes is faster. If you are in europe you can check exchanges that accept SEPA transfers which are the fastest.

Tell us what country you're and you'll get way more useful answers. In some countries it's a breeze. Others are a real pain in the ass. Localbitcoins should be pretty much everywhere but selling on there is more of a grind than somewhere like circle if you can access it where you are.

And by the way, nice poll, dude.

you can choose from many options depending on the country that you live in or your preference.
you can use a service like coinbase or circle just make sure to read their terms to see if it suits your usage, also you can use from many exchange services like kraken, bitfinex, btc-e, ... to use credit card or bank transfer,... or you can use services like c-cex.com to make deposit/withdrawals to online payment processors like okpay,...
or you can find someone close to you in localbitcoins.com and sell them with cash.
Bitcoin is now rising at this moment and that is nice to see because it was stable for a long time so many people are happy with Bitcoin that is rising now because they can earn profit soon.
And as we know the halving is also coming so that is really nice for them.

That is nice becaiues there are to many people who are just holding and never want to sell their coins only if the price rises above the 2000 each or something and they dont know what to do with the coins.
holding their coins meant they know what they do,they won't risking their coins by trading somehow they would prefer keeping their coins till the price reach 2000$ because it's not risky,if prices really reach 2000$ then good,if the price falling down, then they don't lose btc, just need to wait another time

You can use applications to track people in your country that would participate in this sort of thing, and do the exchange face to face, this would be quite trust worthy just remember to meet in an open area with plenty of people just incase
Other alternatives include using a third party software to transfer them, there are plenty of sites on the internet but how trustworthy most of them are is unknown and they could charge a hefty fee for the transfer, up to you

It will be really bad if you are now going to sell your Bitcoin and that is because you have to know that the price of Bitcoin started to rise so that is really nice.
And the only thing that you have to do is waiting for the right moment and sell it with some huge profit.

This is true. They do ask for docs with high amounts.
