I don't now what happen. But I'm still expecting for SIA to hit around 800-900 sats. The fork is on 21 I hope it will hit the target.

the marketcap is at the moment 1.164.831.559 dollar
if sia coin hit 1 it means the CMC will be 31.396.146.174 dollar and thats higher then the cap of bitcoin cash , so i don 't think it is for soon that sia wil hit 1 dollar.

Sia coin going to bump in the market. But it will not reach 1 us dollar. It is below in 0.05usd if you think one dollar it take more time. This have good market capitalisation in the crypto market. Many altcoins also raise in market. So we don't predict the every raising altcoins are reach too much high in market. But it have that much potential in market.
I doubt it will hit $1 soon. But we've all seen the market being manipulated and other small coins shoot up suddenly, so nothing will surprise me now.
I do not think that in the foreseeable future SiaCoin will reach such a value (1$). Its annual dynamics shows that similar outbursts of the rate already existed. However, their duration was about 1-2 weeks after which a devastating collapse followed.
I think it can be achieved, nothing is impossible. 
XRP hit 3$ so there is nothing impossible in crypto world. To be honest, it is hard for Sia to reach 1 dollar because of the coin supply. We need a total growth in market to see this happen.
XRP cannot be compared to SIA . XRP is backed by huge number of banks worldwide and this will keep having a huge demand as more and more banks follow it. While on other hand if you want to make a day trade or want to speculate than Sia coin can be used for it.
If many investors are arriving to buy it, then no word is impossible to achieve a fantastic price.

Siacoin (SC) was pumped quite a lot but it's still a great project and on long-term, the price will be much higher than $1 IMO. I'm thinking of using it for backup storage for a project of mine, to test it out.

What do you mean by the manipulation? Could you be more specific? I don't really know a lot about sia coins.
So after those Asics miners go online the price should rise for Sia?

Sia is utility token and if its price will be too high its very bad for system. If I remember right to create account in system to start storage you need 2000 sia coins( this was in the middle of the last year) this is very high price now to start working.
Yes, people wishing price of coins rise, speculators, often overlook that may not be so great for the platform for users. Short term gain over long term viability.

mu opinion about Siacoin (SC) is.... of course it will hit $1, but take some time more.
I think that in 2018, siacoin will not only reach the price of $ 1, but it will grow even more. Therefore, I decided not to sell this coin. I think that in 2018 it will bring me x10 profits.
Maybe we say market isn't favor for SIA at this time, but not possible to go far and reaches $1 soon. Though it won't move fast compared to other top 10coins but I'm still believing and I've never loss hope. And don't get any worries of having this coin as one of my investment because I know market will not let it to go down.

It's still quite low right now, but it is possible if its popularity increased, just like other undervalued coins did, like Stellar and Monero.
Siacoin will have a hardfork on January 21, so the price is rising. But I think that within a few months the price can really reach $ 1.so while I do not advise to sell siacoin to those who hold this coin 
The Obelisk SiaCoin ASIC miner will be released soon. I believe it will give a huge impact on the market. Personally, SiaCoin is a good coin with a strong foundation. $1 dollar is still pretty reasonable. I believe sooner or later the price will hit that level.
I don't expect it to go to $1 anytime soon, but the truth is, i didn't expect Stellar to go that high either, i guess with some whale manipulation, anything can happen.

SIA coins are more frequent before they reach 1 $. It requires more developments and new partners to hit the $ 1 price. And of course many investors have to pump the price really. So long will we wait for attaining the $ 1 price

I mean $1 seems like a very long way away. It's already in the top 30, I think you have to be realistic that its likely not going to be in the top 10.

Yeah you're right those whales out there already invaded SIA because of the upcoming hard fork. Hope SIA really reach $1 but I'm happy with 800-1k sats.
IMO I think its very hard to reach $1 atm, its need at least $ 32B market cap ( and when we look at the CMC SIA will be at top 5 when reach $1 ). I know that nowaday its hard to make prediction for cryptocurrency but I think incoming trend will be price correction for SIA coin

its already no 21 in coinmarket. btw i sold my sia at 282 sat now waiting to come down to buy again. but i feel worried cuz it doesnt look like coming down again ...
