Steemit is very extended in previous months in bounties, I was quite surprised. I think that if FB will continue in banning crypto and will ban crypto at all one day, Steemit'll replace it well, good social media.

Steemit is very promising social media platform on blockchain but in my opinion they should get rid of bots.
Bot's are making platform dirt and confused users.

No, I don't think so steemit will ever take place of Facebook as both works on a different platform and both interaction modes are different. Most people are not aware of the steemit and Facebook has the largest platform to work and interact on as it is the largest social media. So having marketing over the facebook is more productive than working over steemit. Steemit only good for making our own content for making blogs so comparing both them at this level is one not satisfying at all.

steemit and facebook cannot be compare together, steemit is a social blogging platform that allows people to support you with tokens for your article, facebook is just a social media platform where you make friends, chat with them etc.

If I give you my idea to the topic of yours, No. I don't think so. Because the Steemit is not a social network like facebook. Mainly it is focusing on publishing articles.

I do not think so that steemit take place of facebook.
Facebook is so big and they have the money to use the blockchain properly.
I believe steemit will have no chance against facebook. With or without blockchain.

I agree with you, in this case very little chance to do things so far. Need a mature idea to move the blockchain system into facebook

No mate. Facebook is everything. And steemit is more on social media blogging while using blockchain and cryptocurrency. They are completely different. Facebook is easy to use and everyone is using it. It will take better features to replace facebook.

Facebook is the number one social network with huge capitals - a billions dollars. Steemit is a fairly new and little-known social network that cann't even be equaled with Facebook.

Do not think so. Facebook is one of the largest internet company nowadays, and it can handle all challenges IMO. Do not even feel Steemit to be a competitor.

Of course impossible. Steemit is still a threshold for many people, and the operation is too complicated. It can't be very simple to use, which limits its use of the atmosphere. There must be more advanced and easy to use products.

Have you even used it? It's pretty simple to use actually, if you just want to blog, you can get started in less than 5 minutes.
The whole economic aspect might be a little difficult to understand, but it will explain itself after you've used it.

Writing a blog post is even easier than on Wordpress for example.

At present, Facebook is not able to handle bloggchain , but it is not that it is impossible. Facebook is fast changing .  Facebook is a very large system. There are millions of people who share their experience or knowledge. Steemit presents blogging. Do not interfere with them.

Steemit cannot take the place of facebook because the Facebook is a social media that allows us to meet our friends and family and as well make new friends online. but that of Steemit is not so, it will only allow you to have followers and you also follow back but there is no room for instant chatting which the facebook is in support of.
Steemit is working on the different way, it will never take the place of facebook. The steemit provides the platform for everyone to create their own content regarding anything. It's just like a social publication.
That's my opinion about that, facebook is a social media that make you able to interact with others directly.

For those saying steemit is not a social media platform, it actually is, but the only thing that makes it different from Facebook asides the interface is that it runs on blockchain technology which makes it a decentralized social media platform.

Now, steemit is gaining huge popularity among bloggers and those who see a means to share what they could have shared on Facebook and even get paid for it. Tell me that is not something that is capable of growing big?

However, no one knows what the future holds, so I guess we just leave it that way.

It is more like blogging to earn rather than a social media platform well it functions more like that, on the other hand, Facebook is a pure social media portal an already established platform for its community that serves a friendly interface to its newbie users, will Steemit somehow take place to facebook? the answer is No all because of its large community adoption, focused purpose and an established platform for many years.

They are not to be compared to with each other because they serve different purpose, facebook is a social media where you meet new people chat with them but steemit is a blog platform where you write articles for your followers, so you see, you need to understand the two.

Steemit is totally diffrent project, like Medium, Golos etc. They are something like news or blog where people are creating content for another people.
Facebook is social media platform.

No I don't think that steemit can take place of Facebook in the coming time as companies already have a plan ready if their users become inactive or start transitioning towards other places so they introduce that new feature to gain the lost users back and the same will happen if the users start transitioning towards seem facebook will introduce its own blockchain tech too.

I don’t think steemit has the guts to overtake Facebook
Poor website designs
Poor programs and it’s not the simplest or most basic site for a social account

It has a long way to go but I think their token should be worth some bucks

Steemit and Facebook are two different sites. They serve different purpose when it comes to connecting or reaching out to people worldwide. In my own humble opinion, Steemit can't replace Facebook. They'll coexist because they don't have the same service that each consumer can use. You can play games on Facebook while in Steemit you can't. You can directly message a friend real time while in steemit you can't.

It is easy to say steemit will gain more volume in the future but not like it will replace Facebook or take place of Facebook. I'll not argue if it is to say another wep app will replace Facebook but I don't see steemit in that realm.

Like everybody is saying, Steemit is completely different than Facebook, but I do want to somewhat answer your question.
I do think Steemit has a pretty bright future ahead, especially when they launch their Smart Media Tokens.

Now, I wouldn't count that much on Steemit itself becoming vastly more popular, but there will be numerous new dapps that will be running on Steem.
Dtube is a good example, but it wil become much better than that.

I personally just try to post as much on there as possible, just to get a decent investment going there once SMT's are launched.

Well i don't think so because both facebook and steemit are different platforms. Facebook is a social platform and steemit is a free blogging site. More to the point steemit does not tolerate plagiarism at all but we know that most people who participate in facebook and twitter copy the posts of others just to share on their profiles for stakes.

I think it is not impossible to see steemit more popular than facebook in the future. But I think it is unlikely to happen in a near future. If the crypto get more popular in the future, the popularity of steemit can rise greatly.

Steemit isn't even competing with FB, to do so they're gonna +2 billion active users every month to actually become a serious competitor. And just because Steemit uses a blockchain-based platform doesn't mean it will overtake Facebook. Also, don't underestimate Facebook, they have enough resources to adopt the blockchain techonology into their platform in the blink of an eye.

Yes, I agree with you because they are two different thinks entirely and the more people use facebook, the larger it becomes and this is a platform that is needed for promotion of a project because it has a large crowd and it is also very easy to spread a news there as long as it is well written and marketed. Steemit cannot take place of facebook in future because facebook will continue to grow and they will also appreciate the blockchain technology.

Facebook will most likely be adopting the blockchain technology by then. They have been on the news eyeing on the blockchain technology.

They have the resources and will not allow to be replaced by steemit in the ranks.

It is not realistic to think steemit is capable of replacing Facebook. They are so different in many terms, Facebook is a social media for making friends and communicating with them, but steemit is a platform for content creators looking to monetize their work.
On Steemit users cannot send private messages among themselves and everything is public, so I don't believe the two platforms should be in the same categories.

However, there are a few blockchain projects out there hoping to disrupt the social media industry through the blockchain. Media Protocol is one of them.

Steemit can become a competitor for Blogspot or WordPress maybe. But it's quite a different field from Facebook and it's very far from taking its place.
But even for reaching near the success of WordPress there's still an awfully lot more to grow.

I think steemit cannot take over facebook. It is simply because facebook has so many users all around the world unlike steemit which only used by the people who only knows about cryptocurrencies' technology, we all know that facebook sometimes ban some crypto advertisements in their websites but it doesn't mean that it can be replaced by steemit in terms of advertising products or projects to the public.

no it won'e be able to do it because the coin may have traces of decentralization but the platform that it has is completely centralized. it is still a website controlled by someone that you have to visit and post. so people won't give up the good old Facebook for another centralized platform which doesn't offer anything better and is filled with spammers wanting to make money from it.

Steemit has nothing to do with Facebook. Steemit is a blogging platform and Facebook is a website where people upload photos to share with their friends and family. In any case, the question to ask would be if Steemit can become as popular as, for example, Wordpress. In any case, the answer would be no.
