I think there is a realistic possibility of a World War 3 level conflict. The chances are low at the moment if I had to wager but if Putin pushes his forces into a Nato controlled area and if China or another super power supports him this conflict could become a full scale world war 3 level conflict.

And you know what's going to happen when oil's price is too damn high. All sorts of industries where part of using oil will also increase its price, in short, there's going to be inflation and could be higher this time.
Every business requires transportation, energy, and other related stuff to oil. They are not going to skip the effect of the oil price hike and that doesn't sound good at all.

The events in Ukraine are not a third world war, this is a localized war. No one will allow a third world war, nuclear weapons bring death to the entire planet, this makes no sense If we live to this point, it will be the point of no return for civilization

Oh god I really hope it will not be the case 
At the moment the West will not send troops into direct combat. If Russia takes Ukraine but then decides to move to a NATO country then that is when we will have a proper war. I hope this doesn’t happen though because it will be good for nobody.
I think the war will end soon. And if it continues, the economy will be destroyed under this pandemic situation. A war never makes a good things for anyone.
If there was to be a WW3 it’d be catastrophic for lives lost but also the world economy. As it stands I don’t think it will escalate to get that far. To be honest everything coming out of Russia & Ukraine suggests there won’t be a war. Western media & politicians seem desperate for a war though.

It started 2 years ago, many already got shot, some died on the spot. How fatal the toxic shots will be, will be known in the years to come.

Really hope I'm wrong but I do suspect there will be a world war 3 in my lifetime. It is hard to predict who would be involved and when it will happen. If it leads to a nuclear, chemical or biological attacks it’s hard to see how any side will come away a winner.
Today there are new threats like sonic warfare such as the Havana syndrome and I’m sure many new military technological breakthroughs are on the horizon. My hope is that people use constraint and no strays too far from the ethical framework of the Geneva convention.

I think the chances of a large-scale war are low. People won't support it. On the other hand, I don't see an end to small-scale war for a long time. Destruction, invasion, and the domination of other countries are an integral a part of the U.S. foreign policy.

History tends to repeat, so defense contractors will make billions, while in most of the world the gap between rich and poor grows wider. Let's hope for better than WW3 in the coming years, many people need a break from bad news.
