Using technology/information and business monopolies, governments are getting closer than ever before to having absolute power. Please stop supporting them everybody, history will not judge you well.
We are already doing it. Bitcoin, decentralized technology are the answers.

Unfortunately, you'd be surprised how many people on bitcointalk.org support the democratic government concept in 2018 (it used to be far less than that 5-6 years ago).

What chance does anybody have when Sadiq Khan (terrorist sympathiser) is Mayor of London.
As long as UK is selling the weapons to Qatar and Qatar is exporting their oils to UK, nothing is going to change no matter if it's Sadiq or anyone else who has strong stand against the terrorist.

Even if they somehow stopped cooperating with Qatar in a way that their citizens wanted, they would work their way around it like they always do.
It's a corrupt bunch, that is very obvious to anyone who cares to look into it.

It is said "Power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely"

Do not trust the government
Qatar is part of the cause of the problems. Will the protesters give the Emir an equivalent reception?

People can protest as much as they like, the UK government gangsters will not stop using your taxes to develop weapons and military tech that they will sell to countries like Qatar, and the UK will not stop Qatari imports (most significantly of which is probably oil). Business with government allies in the Middle East is too strategically important to listen to the opinions of the electorate.

Anyone remember how democracy is supposed to be about listening to the electing public? You tell them what you want and they give it to you? That's not what happens with Middle East issues. They won't listen when it screws up their deals (their deals, not your deals)

Well this is also pretty obviously true.

When people in UK wanted a brexit, you would assume that they just wanted UK to simply leave.
Instead they reinterpret their opinion to whatever suits them best that they can get away with.

Even if they somehow stopped cooperating with Qatar in a way that their citizens wanted, they would work their way around it like they always do.

Nobody ever heard of Tamim. If there will be protests, they will be very small.
Unless someone makes him popular, nobody would even know what is going on.

As for mister Donald, he might solve some problems, but he will create some new ones as well.
It is very debatable and subjective if he should be protested against or not, my opinion is split as well.

The Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani is due to visit the UK next week. The disgusting demonstrations and behaviour protesting aginst Donald Trump made some of us ashamed to be considered as British. Donald Trump is a part of the solution to many of the world problems, Qatar is part of the cause of the problems. Will the protesters give the Emir an equivalent reception?
