Electroneum tried to make a mobile miner. Actually something like mining simulation. Yeah well phone security is so good these days.
Eventually it will be done. I mean we don't have miners for mobile phones and that is very interesting stuff.
It will be fun to play with phones.

There are plenty of miner apps for Android. Phones are just really crap for mining anything.

I think mining using an appropriate Pc with right specs and amount of requirement is still the best and I don't want to replace and relace my cellphinr just to use it in mining. If you really want to continue with mining I would suggest to search for the best pc that suites for mining with complete accessories.

Technically Minergate has an app...

No I don't recommend it.

I mean with phones having so much processing power these days, are we ever going to see someone write the code for a new android miner that people can run on their phones and its GPU resistant?

I have to admit I got fooled into downloading some fake apps and thinking I'm mining eth but took me 3 hours to figure out they are fake. Lol

Thank you for all your comments!

no there will never be, why cause phones have SHIT for processing power. what ever gave you the idea they have enough power to mine with?, but then again your a fool so go figure roflamo

Not appreciating your attitude but that's OK. everyone gets 3% braver over the internet. You are no exception to that rule. Just a normal guy.

Anyway, to answer your question, the new cellphones in fact have great processing power specially with their GPUs. They can play 3D games with lots of processing need. Also special algorithms could potentially be written that only use special codes in Qualcomm or Samsung processors that are unavailable in x64 or GPU processing so they cannot be reproduced, similar to how they made Equihash ASIC resistant.

and those very games you talk about use shit for resources compared to a normal pc program not the same thing there dude, phones DONT have enough power to make it worth while for mining and I could care less about you liking my attitude you asked a stupid question that has been asked many times over with people telling you the exact same thing ive already said, not enough power, and batteries don't last and phone were never built to withstand being used for mining its like using a laptop for mining which ya don't do so why would you want to use a phone?

The battery will definitely wear out but still for the sake of doing it there still are apps which actually mine and one of them is mitergate's app.

Let us try to apply a little common sense. What is the biggest problem with phones? The battery doesnt last. You want to run something that pushes the phone to 100% power usage 100% of the time. Your battery would die in an hour or two every single time you mined. Why the hell would anyone want to mine on a phone and make it completely unusable for anything else?

This is such an obvious problem I dont understand why people keep asking about it.

Not to mention a tiny mobile GPU rendering a 3" screen cannot even be compared to a $750 desktop graphics card with more system memory than the average laptop....

Obvious problems are obvious.

We all here check about cooling and you ask for an android miner?
It will destroy your phone and the hash will be low.

Invest in a rig or forget it
