The cgminer readme says that icarus is the ONLY device that needs ftdi, not zadig. The next version of cgminer will do direct usb.

Hi guys, need a bit of help! I got 2 gpus and just recently got this board that is Icarus compatible.
Been trying to do the right thing and follow closely the CGminer instructions ( latest version 3.1.1 ). Installed the new drivers with the zadig and tried to run cgminer. no luck since cgminer doesn't recognise the hardware in spite of windows 7 being able to detect them.

Then I went and installed the bitminter app ... to no avail ... still doesn't see it ...
BFG ... same story ...

the board has 8 LX150 chips and it's this 1: http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=14590459436

I know almost nothing about linux, but can follow instructions Smiley any help is greatly appreciated !
