You'll need to download a copy of Windows 7 64-bit from Microsoft (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows7).

Additionally, you'll need to reinstall your PC using the downloaded files, which means you'll lose all of your data. You can backup your data before, but you'll need to reinstall all programs and adjust all settings after the reinstallation process.

From what I know you will have to lose at least Windows and Program Files. You may have to actually reformat the Windows partition (and lose everything).

I recommend you do this only if you can re-use the license keys for whatever programs you have installed.
I recommend you backup the whole Windows partition before doing this, just in case you missed something with the backup. I used Norton Ghost back in the days Hiren's Boot CD had it, but I am sure you can find newer options too.

Yeah its easy. You need to install Winx64 overtop of the old OS. Normally when you do this from the install CD the old OS will be renamed to windows.old. You will have to re-install all of your apps but your data will remain on your hard drive. Any documents or pictures you saved in the libraries will also be there in \users\yourprofilename. I would recommend setting up a different profile name for winx64. That way you will have two folders in \users. Its better to start with a clean install rather than some sort of upgrade.

I would recommend you to go with the 64bit, Because you can use both software from 32bit or 64bit.

You need to reinstall windows so you can't upgrade without formatting your pc. If you don't want to loose your data then do a backup before upgrading. It is not possible to upgrade without formatting.

All data will be lose. If OP meant for files, just format the drive where windows will be installed. Don't format the partition obviously.

And one thing more for OP, you can try to get assistance from Google search as you will get more answers there than posting here in bitcoin forum.
