CGMiner uses all mining devices by default, so you don't need to tell it to use your GPU.

I wouldn't waste time with a 5770 for bitcoin mining.   And getting it working with Bitcoin will not help you with scrypt mining since they require completely different drivers and SDK.

Bitcoin mine with your Erupters in one CGMiner-nogpu.exe instance and scrypt mine with your GPU in another instance with cgminer.exe.

Post in the alt currency thread for more experienced help or post in the CGMiner thread to get help from the devs.

Good Luck,
Sam

Sigh,
I tried the betaversion of Catalyst, but my problems stay the same. Maybe there is something else wrong? When I try to mine with GUIminer. My fan starts working and GuIminer says my card is hashing, but there is an error "verification failed, check hardware".
When I try to use cgminer (3.3.4) with no flags or extra's: just server, worker, password, it says:
MTX: ICarus USB failed to get  'cg-usb-1-1' - device in use and it crashes.

I have two blockerupters running. Maybe that's the problem? How do I tell cgminer that he has to use the card?
When I stop my blockerupters and start cgminer, it also crashes.
My blockerupters work perfectly on cgminer...

Eventually I do want to mine LTC with my card, but for now I'm more used to bitcoin mining. I thought: if I got it work mining bitcoins, then I know nothing is wrong with my card and I can start working on LTC.

At the moment my GPU isn't overclocked because it gets hot really fast

Have you overclocked your GPU?

GPU has still has its usage if you use that for scrypt based mining.

Buy a Block Erupter USB and retire the 5770 from mining.

I would actually use the link above and download the legacy 11.12 drivers.  Those work best for 5xxx series cards.
Depends. Are you LTC or BTC mining? I don't believe 11.12 uses the SDK 2.6, which is required for LTC.

2.6 and later was sucky for BTC mining on 5xxx cards, but it's a necessary evil for LTC.

13.10 Beta works fine here with Win 7 64 bit on different machines.

If I remember right it does include also the actual OpenCL driver.

I've updated my computer and OS and now I'm not able to get my grafic card mining again.
I use Windows 7 64bit pro and I have an ATI 5770 card.
I understand that Catalyst 13.4 gives problems with Windows 7, but I can't seem to find an older Catalyst that works with 64bits. Link anyone?

Idea's anyone?
