Yes, I think I'm experiencing the "slow down even more" part of the tweak instead of more performance, I will stick to removing the basic annoyances only... thank you for your advice

I've seen something similar before:  https://1stminingrig.com/best-windows-setup-configuration-tweaks-for-mining/

As someone who is a system administrator for their day job, let me just say these "tweaks" are idiotic.  The only way you would ever see a performance boost would be if your cpu was so archaic that it could barely run windows 10 to begin with.  However, the more likely scenario is the system slows down even more when windows constantly tries to start some of these services that get disabled.  Furthermore, implementing all of these "fixes" via changes to the registry is a recipe for disaster.  The biggest mistake is disabled windows update.  You have a machine running 24 hours a day, connected to the internet and not getting any security patches.

For 100% optimization your best bet is to run linux command line with no gui.  There is no overhead or unneeded services.  Short of doing that though, I recommend installing windows 10 LTSB, which is already pared down to the essentials:  https://web.archive.org/web/20180114193245/https://www.reddit.com/r/Piracy/comments/6dvkbt/full_guide_installing_activating_windows_10_ltsb/

Hey Guys Have you tried the win10 tweaks for mining by DeadManWalking?

If not you can get it here: https://github.com/DeadManWalkingTO/Windows10MiningTweaksDmW

I'm using it in two rigs but I have found the rigs actually slower, the first one have a celeron and 4gb of memory so I didn't care but then I ran it on an i5 with 8gb and I notice the system actually slower...

If you have tried can you share your experience with it? Its really worth it?
