Win 7 because it's what the system is compatible with. It's also compatible with Vista but seems to have more 7 64 drivers that Vista 64 available.

As for dead systems with keys, it should work but I thought keys like that were tied to the hardware in the system they came attached to ?

I have 2 windows 7 64bit laptops effectively dead. Can their keys be reused on a different laptop?

Two laptops and both dead ? Please send it to me , I will give you 10 usd for that excluding all transfer charges .

I HAD maybe 10 legit upgrade copies that we purchased for work but ended up not using. i have sense given them away, but they are kind of hard to find. Not change the subject too much, but Windows 8.1 or 10 work?

Where might one find for legitimate download / purchase, windows 7 64bit that I can use as an upgrade from Vista ?

I found this but seems too good to be true on price but might not be if it's old stock.
