Hello.

Change the driver. The 13,4 is only good for play game, not for mining. I am used now the 13,1 driver version with 7970 and 7870 with exterder riser x16

On the other hand, to extender riser for 79x0, need a cable with connect to molex power, because the VGA need 75W of the mother board and the riser externer is possible broken.

Regards.

Get rid of all power management drivers, turn cool and quiet off.

You're going to be sucking power down like water anyway, so you don't need power management.

So I was messing with GUIMiner scrypt and I have 3 GPUs right now.  2 hooked straight to the mobo and 1 on a X16 extender riser cable.

When I start miner #1 and #2 the driver does not crash.

But when I start #3 which is the riser cable one it crashes the driver.

It was working fine yesterday.

Does this sound like I need to make the cable into a powered riser cable?

I know I have been posting threads about BAMT.  This is another machene.

Windows 7 64 bit
i7 965
12GB
3 7950's

I have had this rig running fine for about 4 days.  But the last day or so my miners have been really low and kept crashing the AMD driver.

So today I stopped all the miners, rebooted, and tried again and now everytime I start a miner (GuiMiner scrypt) the AMD driver crashes.   I dont get it.

I tried to use cgminer to see if it was related to GUIMiner but everytime I start cgminer it crashes.  I tried starting it with cgminer.exe -o http://mine.pool-x.eu:8080 -u xxxxxxxxxx -p xxxxxxxx --scrypt
and I also tried just starting it and then putting the URL and U/P in.  Same thing.

I was running 13.4 drivers when all this started.  I now have uninstalled those and installed 12-8.   Same thing.

Anyone have any idea what I may be doing wrong?

Much thanks
