If there is a wallet out there that has access to the claimed fork, then that wallet is controlled by a dev team that has too much control over the coin and there has to be a whole set of things that they have in mind between now and the "fork".

If the wallet has nothing to do with any of that and you are being scammed into it from that angle, then there is no reason to have the coin and that scam is that one, it is just a matter of which scam you are going to get screwed by.

Same here my antivirus always detect it as a harmful or contains malware but I just disable my antivirus to run the hard wallet and it's running, I also suggest that they will make an clean hard wallet for us easy to used without any issues.

Go the official site of Bitcoin Gold and get there the updated information about wallets that support this new cryptocurrency.
As I have got, for today Guarda, Freewallet and Coinomi have been already working with BTG. They say, the list will be longer.

i checked these wallets, they are not ready yet for bitcoin gold.

Why don't you just go to the BitcoinGold website and look it up? Shouldn't be too hard to find...

I think they said we would be able to access our bitcoin gold two weeks after the snapshot was taken. So we roughly got another 10 days left to wait before we can start expecting something stable to come out. I also kept a portion of bitcoin on bittrex, they said they would credit bitcoin gold, but thus far I am yet to receive my bitcoin gold. For now I'm pretty curious as to what the price will be after the majority of the people can access their bitcoin gold, the charts aren't looking good right now so it could get even worse.

anyone know windows wallet supporting bitcoin gold ?

i see only this wallet but it's for mobile :
guarda.co

is there any for windows?

UPDATE :
i find this :
https://glatinum.info/

anyone try it before?

The moment its not from the official website of bitcoin Gold, then it does not attract my attention no matter the amount of recommendations that will cone with it. At this time which is few days to the official availability of bitcoin Gold the proliferation of softwares with the intention of causing more damage then what they seek to solve in terms of stealing the coins will be rampant now just like what happened after the break of bitcoin cash.

i hope more trusted wallets will support bitcoin gold.

How and why would any of you have any interest with out knowing that first ?

He just pass his thought dude. How he explain about that. There are no wallet and no blockchain explorer for the bitcoin gold. Bitcoin gold expectation is mined with the GPU cards alone using the home computer. If any wallets supports the bitcoin gold means you will be able to get the amount for example. If have one bitcoin you will receive the one bitcoin gold dude.

No official announcements yet, so dont think of using your private keys in any of the wallets. They may want to scam you with your Bitcoins. It will be announced on this forum as this is the largest community for crypto people.

i'm still waiting for some official wallet till 1st Nov.
we should claim bitcoin gold sooner because it's price is dropping  Undecided

I believe BTG still have not yet implemented replay protection properly so be very careful not to lose your Bitcoin while trying to claim your Bitcoin Gold. That would be totally not worth it! Smiley

It takes time for the release of a standard wallet. Most probably exchanges might have already generated wallet for the storage of bitcoin gold. It has got list to most of the exchanges and this time the entire process happened similar to the price correction that take place with bitcoin after a large growth.

how can exchangers send and receive bitcoin gold if there is no wallet yet?

I brought this up a few days ago.
I was alarmed at how everyone on the other topic didn't care.
The only thing people were asking is when is Bittrex going to list it etc.
"crypto" has gotten to a new frightening / disturbing level of scammy.
This profiteering investors startup crap is getting a bit ridiculous now.

It's one thing to get into that crap and it's another investing in.. crap.

A wallet available should and *used* to be the no.1 aspect to any new coin that came out.
Boy did times change.  Roll Eyes

EDIT:

I hope you all realize the more silly this gets the more the govt's etc are going to crush you.
Which will likely mean your little "investments" will suffer because of it.
It's like you are all collectively begging for the hammer.
Pretty much like children pushing things till the breaking point.. then you will scatter.
(that is what happened with the SCRYPT cloning supporters years ago)
You won't see this place flooded with accounts that were active in late 2013 / early 2014 ..they all left.

There is no Bitcoin Gold wallet. I just know exchange is providing that and the exchange who will supporting Bitcoin gold is Yobit.
There is a bitcoin gold wallet for now and yobit is not the only exchange supporting the currency. There is a lot of information being updated on their website daily, so you might want to check so that you can stay informed and honestly, I am not hating but I really dont know why people are relying or making use of yobit this much.

ALWAYS make sure to visit the official website of these coins. for bitcoin gold it is https://btcgpu.org/ anything else may be giving you malware to steal your bitcoins and other sensitive information.

and so far BTG only has its full node wallet. and since they are forking from bitcoin and using its blockchain, you will probably have to download the whole blockchain which is 140+ GB (similar to bitcoin cash) if you want to use it.

anything else like SPV wallets such as Electrum, you have to wait until someone starts a project and builds one for it. so far the code for BTG itself is not even ready let alone any additional wallets!

i'll be waiting for official bitcoin gold wallet on windows.
I think you can also see the news above of this forum posted by admin they will announce  about the wallet and how to get the free bitcoin gold after the fork the same what happen in bitcoin cash so don't rush since the fork is more days to go before its done..
Good luck to us and hope that you guys are also holding a good amount of bitcoin to get more bitcoin gold ..
Better to wait for other review first so that you can't be lose because sometimes there are wallets are scam or getting all of your funds..
So becareful after the fork  be sure to  review the news and get reviews by other trusted members here. .

All the information you will need are already stated on their official site https://btcgpu.org and apparently, guarda is the only wallet so far that is supporting the bitcoin gold just like you have mentioned and if there was any other one, it would have been mentioned.

However, a lot of information is being updated daily and I believe we will get to see more wallets eventually but for now, the only bet is the one on the site. Don't worry, we still have about 6 days for more update and after that, there will be so many wallet that will still accept eventually just like we are having now with BCC.

Right now I think that's the only one as well. At least that is the wallet listed on their site. I do believe that more wallets will come though. They will need at least one wallet that downloads the entire blockchain to run full nodes I guess. They can't do that with a spv wallets, so I think we will have more wallets after the fork.

do you think we will see spv wallets officially supported in the future?
