Everybody has to start somewhere - so sorry for being a noob ...

And yes I did download only from official threads from here. - And still they show signs of malware and trojans. Check it out yourself.
Even the more serious coins like digitalcoin shows up with a warning. Maybe that's just the way those applications are built?

Anybody else wants to weigh in of what they think?

You should always worry if your antivirus is going off. But when you worry do research.

Some of the Windows wallet clients like Dimecoin, Feathercoin, Mincoin, Philopherstone might contain malware and/or trojans. I read this here: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/windows-malware-and-trojan-in-windows-wallets-387299.

I checked myself with https://www.virustotal.com/ and found it also in the

bernankoin-qt.exe: Trojan-Spy.Win32.Zbot.
digitalcoin-qt.exe: HW32.Laneul.wgga & Win32.Expiro.AV (B)
dogecoin-qt.exe: PE:Malware.XPACK/RDM!5.1
worldcoin-qt.exe: HW32.Laneul.teuy
novacoin-setup-win32-0.4.4.exe: Trojan/Blocker.ndx

What do you guys think? Just false positives - and nothing to worry about, or computer compromised?
The thing is - in most cryptocoin wallets, it shows 0/48 - so clean, but why would it show false positives in some and in some not?

Because some mining code may have been used in Trojans in the past, no doubt, so it's more likely to bring up false positives on popular wallets.
