There is no surprise that Bet365 clinched the top 1 Online Sports Betting Operator. If I remember right, there is a thread before that is shared here (or maybe just part of the replies) in the forum that they become more popular on Europe's online gambling during the pandemic and lasted until now.

Not against the voting result here, even I'm not familiar with some of those, because awards doesn't really matter as long as these gambling operators are good to their service.

Indeed many casinos are not known to a lot of people here because we are crypto users and not fiat casino users. But bet365 is indeed well deserved to win such award.

There's currently no gambling body that governs crypto-gambling sites so it's not possible to have a global award for it. There should be a large group or wide voice request from the public so it can reach the event organizers. And on that region, online gambling becomes a demand but it doesn't mean that people there are mostly playing at crypto casinos.

Most crypto-gambling sites aren't regulated too so there's no way to know how far they are performing unless the site will submit their statistics which I doubt they will or shared.

I think that the cryptos gambling still has a lot of room to grow, I agree they can't compete with Fiat gambling, and maybe that's why I don't know most of those listed above.

Hopefully, this will change in the next few years and cryptos will be more prevalent in gambling, it would be interesting too if there was a specific category for them, don't you think?

Yes, I see bet365 everywhere on the internet and I have already answered surveys about them (probably surveys ordered by bet365 itself). They must invest a lot of money in marketing to reach most potential gamblers as possible. That may have helped them to win this award considerably. But frankly, I would like to see more crypto platforms in these competitions.
It would help a lot bitcoin adoption to increase among gamblers who still stick only with fiat currencies.

I'm not sure these award ceremonies are really worth much, it is basically just an extra event that buys a subtle form of advertising to any participants. They all pay a little bit of money to participate, they are unlikely to even indirectly link to a voting site which could advertise their rivals, so the results are going to be heavily biased towards the sites with the largest player bases and offering little exposure to the smaller sites which might be innovating. As someone else has said, they should have introduced a cryptocurrency based prize but I doubt the big players want any publicity for that section of the market which could take away their players.

I guess it's because crypto gambling sites aren't that huge when compared to fiat sites and the only crypto casino I saw in the nomination list was Bitstarz.

in the coming years, as crypto casinos are becoming popular, i believe they will add another category in the crypto-related category. right now, maybe for them the audience using crypto casinos are still small, the reason why we haven't seen popular crypto casinos in the list. fiat-based online casinos are still the popular ones today but crypto gamblers are increasing especially during this pandemic era. and a lot are finding out the major benefits that they can get, like no KYC and fast deposit and withdrawal of cryptocurrencies.
