Haven't use e-coin much before but after their rebranding lots of issue have arises in their platform so i think its better to go through another service provider than them.
Their recent issues should make you careful. They seem to have managed some of their problems, but honesty I am not sure if it all is over.

Overall I've had an okay experience. Deposits and payments go smoothly, although they need a bit of improvement as sometimes my balance shows zero but it gets fixed automatically after quite a while. You should try it yourself, just be wary. I suggest you do multiple transactions over different times if you're gonna deal with huge sums.
