TenX is going to be much more bigger than Wirex.

Wirex  was one of the best card providers and they had a nice platform, i dont know why they started to put ridiculous fees on all the transactions that you make on that site.

I wanted to load my card a few days ago and it costed me about $5 to add funds, and plus the network fees (they were about $8 in total)

I am not complaining, but there are better options so far, and maybe some times your card load can get stucked and you have to be waiting more than two days until your ticket gets answered.

I prefer bitwala, or just wait until TenX develop it's idea.

I think their biggest problem is the fact they offer completely unacceptable exchange rate. They charge 150 EUR per BTC in exchange fees. That s really too much for any kind of transaction. IMO, if you are in Europe, Tenx is your best option.

I was looking for virtual visa card and on the same time to support cryptocurrencies and I got this website  wirexapp.com
I register and confirm email and phone number by sending me SMS and they said the first virtual visa card is for free and I have placed an order and was successful and I say let me try out by sending $10 bitcoin and when I want to load the card he denied because I have to verify my identity and when I want to withdrawal my bitcoin is asking for $ 4.5 fee to withdrawal $10 and I confirm let them take $5 fee to transfer $10 but till now they holding my coin and $10 is nothing but all of you please stay away form this scam
They're aren't scam, i've used their virtual card several times for shopping. it's just recently they changed their kyc policy, about a month ago there was no kyc for small transactions, now they require full kyc verification to even use their service for small transaction. also the fee you're talking about is probably miners/tx fee.

Some citizens are forced to have their account verified (Wirex or any other service providing a prepaid card, bitcoin related or not doesn't matter) It's because of some new regulations related to the KYC that took place about 3 months ago.

So Wirex was just asking you what any other would ask you. Then the ~4$ fees are what most of the online-based wallets have set up to make transactions.

So you can't call a scam a company that abides by the laws.

Did you know those services maintain KYC policy? And its completely normal to verify your identity before using all the features of the service.
You should understand that when some "mysterious" government will want to compromise whole cryptocurrency system, the only thing they need to do is to say, that terrorist had received money in bitcoins. And all the services, who help to send bitcoin will be under pressure. Chance to stand will be on those, who maintain KYC (know your client) policy.
So show that you real person with legal id and use all the benefits of crypto.

While I complained several times of their fees, I wouldn't call Wirex a scam. Most similar services have quite big fees, you'll see.
I use their services for a couple of months already, but I've never had any big issues with them.

There is another thread about Bitcoin card providers, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1410577.620 we'd appreciate if you'd share your experience with (all) the cards you try out there too.

I have been reading many times about this app but to be honest, i never tried it myself. Let your $10 go if they really ask these things to do before withdrawal.
If you need a virtual visa card, it can be easily achieved at coins.ph website or from their android app.
Coins.ph is a philipians multi purpose bitcoin wallet and also introduces virtual visa card to their customers by which you can spend your bitcoins
