If I am investing, I will share 50% into Bitcoin then the the other 50% will be distributed among the other altcoins. I love Bitcoin because anytime it rises, the percentage of rise is very high as compared to other altcoins.

Yes I agree. All we know that bitcoin is the most popular and powerful crypto in this industry. Even that there are so many down or price fall it can stay alive for a decade and I think this is a good foundation of a good investment. And it is a very progressive coin all we see it's progress.

For the part of altcoins, we still have some altcoins that are very good like Ethereum and some of the top altcoins in coin market that can stand the test of time. I think we can gain more profit if we know when to buy, when to hold, and when to release it on the market. But this is not an easy skill to be learned. It will needs time to learn and sometimes it will be depend on luck.

I totally agree with you. After the tragic performance of most of the altcoins and tokens funded through ICOs, which have currently meant a loss of up to 95% for naive investors, this has caused potential investors to prefer safe and reliable cryptos such as bitcoin and ethereum, and that is why after the dominance of bitcoin came to fall to levels close to 30% a few months ago, at this time it has recovered to levels close to 60%.
And that's why at the moment I also have most of my investments in crypto distributed in bitcoin and ethereum, and only a small percentage of less than 10% is distributed in altcoin in order to speculate in the short term.
Truth being said, bitcoin is a safe investment and its very nice to have 65% of your money in bitcoin. A lot has already been proposed and speculated but still bitcoin stands out. Some alts are already doing well from last few weeks and months but i do agree that a lot of coins are still struggling and even to get to the ico or break even prices seems like a very complex task so i would agree with you and suggest the new people to stay with high quality coins and projects only.

You are quite right, but as for me, I have more interest in BNB because it still has enough room for growth and expansion in terms of its current and future prices.

My choice is almost the same. It is evident that Bitcoin should be the #1 crypto that we hold. I plan to get up to 70% of BTC in my portfolio. The rest 30% are spread between OmiseGO, Ethereum, Litecoin, and Monero.

Good job man for 65% your Bitcoin profit, It is more respectable than investing in new currencies. In fact, I evaluated Bitcoin for the first time holding so far. It more bad think totally 70% up altcoins price goes to dumping. Even though I said that now time only Bitcoin and Ethereum. Although coinmarketcap top list coins always giving me impress, So here I always evaluate the best currency.

It's has been discuss plenty about the coins which deserve to hold for long term purpose and the answer is obviously bitcoin is the right choose but instead of bitcoin people still can get profit for short term hold and depend on price movement for altcoins itself you can utilize it to get decent profit so basically i would like to says utilize wisely the potential coins to get maximum profit not only counting on bitcoin
Put your money 100% in bitcoin then it can be called as wise investment. I have a bit sure to choose altcoin in my investment since I got many lost when I choose some altcoin and I never choose it again. I just collect my money from siganture campaign payment and I buy bitcoin per week and choose for long term investment. Seems like I'll regret it because I can't do this thing in long time ago, but at least I was aware of this and maybe some people should follow what I have done.

Yes BTC is the safest bet for a long-term price increase, but I do think there are plenty of good alts out there that will increase strongly as well. It is boring to say it as they are already high cap coins, but ETH and XRP look very good bets for the long-term, too.
Acquiring coins at lower prices and hold for some time until the prices increase, is considered passive income. You're just waiting until there's profit. It is also a good investment considering that the market is going up until bullrun. However, better if you split.your capital into holding and trading. Yeah right! Missing those days of year 2017. But, this is reality check. This is the time where we don't need to be greedy, have patience, and do hardwork. We need to accept that money here are hard-earned money. We don't rely on luck. As of now, bitcoin is really the backup investment. You can gamble to invest to a starting coin to have bigger percent profit.

It is one of the best cryptocurrency to invest but for the people who are looking for short term profits there maybe some altcoins which can give huge bumps at the end of bull run but it is not going to be possible for someone to find that coin before its happening.

As for me, it is bitcoin and eth. I am seeing good returns on these two top cryptocurrencies. As to other alts, I think one can still pick at least five that has the best potential to grow when bitcoin can be making the next move towards the $10K level. Putting more than 50% of one's crypto holdings on bitcoin can be a wise decision.

But it really is not a coin that can bring you high profits. I think at a great bull run like this, you should invest in altcoins in the top 20, it is still quite safe but the profit will be between 50 and 80%.EOS and BNB will soon bring such high profits in Q4.

There are so many altcoin lists in the market, and we are difficult to find which the right coin to invest, but as long as you can choose from the top 100 coin list in the CMC, I think you can make a big profit too. From the 100 coin list, you can reduce the list until it can be top 20 coin or top 15 coin list so you can buy all of the 15 coins and hold it for a while.
There are so many altcoin lists in the market, and we are difficult to find which the right coin to invest, but as long as you can choose from the top 100 coin list in the CMC, I think you can make a big profit too. From the 100 coin list, you can reduce the list until it can be top 20 coin or top 15 coin list so you can buy all of the 15 coins and hold it for a while.

I have invested 80% of the money I have with Bitcoin because in my opinion bitcoin is the safest place to invest and 15% I invest ETH and 5% on other altcoins
Thats wise indeed, if you buy bitcoin when its price around 5k$ then you got your best profit then. I think also bitcoin will follow the trend last 2017 thats why its really recommended to hold bitcoin. Price will be higher and higher and nothing is impossible when bull run hit again.

I think the ERC-20 token is still feasible to invest because not all ERC-20 tokens are bad and there are still many at high prices with erc20

Its a wise investment indeed, every investors should be wise enough to have more bitcoin in there disposal than any other altcoins ,its more trusty and less risky

Good decision on having more than 50% of your portfolio to Bitcoin and have the rest be scattered around eth and other alts. That's how I'm positioning myself too. Though I'm still not stopping on looking at upcoming projects that has huge potential in the IEO market. Many hidden gems are still out there and I got about 10% of holdings to a digital collectible/NFT project that is very trending right now, except that this has AR. And especially that we're on the start of the bull run, having btc and different other alts will get you in good shape.

Everybody has a different opinion regarding what crypto is the best for investment but I see bitcoin is more expensive than any other altcoins at the top of the coin market cap ranking which are more cheaper. Yes it is, no doubt that bitcoin is the safest asset that we can be purchased. I think bitcoin will pump the same again like in 2017 however lots of rumors that some company are leaving the digitial currency, I find it, absurd cause this is probably a fud to create so investors woulndt go in for btc. Bull run is inevitable and everyone knows it. I think its only a matter of time before the bull spike hit the market again.

Bull run now is happening in the market it may not be aggressive compare to 2017 but we are actually almost there to reach it were for sure bitcoin holders will get happy to see it. The performance was quite impressive and its closed to 10,000$ each bitcoin and if this things achieve it will be hard for the buyers to buy it due to its expensive anymore. I agree with you 100 percent. A greater percentage of my portfolio is on bitcoin. If we are riding to 100k us dollars for a bitcoin after the halving, they I don't want to be left out of the ride. I see 2021 as a big and important year in cryptocurrency and blockchain history
In the long run, bitcoin is, in my opinion, the best investment. But 20% of the investments for active actions in the market are other coins that can actively trade short positions.

Same as me, Bitcoin is big part of my assets, and then other coins maybe top CMC coins. I still believe that bitcoin can be pumped again like what happen in past and then a lot of people can take profit with it. 
Yes you are right,bitcoin will always be my first and last choice of investment ,it brings back profit back unlike altcoins that are still struggling to increase in price

When this is good as bitcoin bull run is good for everyone. Though lots of altcoins and Exchange coins are also doing good and it's good to join the fray. I hate losses so I've set my mindset to make profit while being on guard. For now get BNB and veil and some Exchange token to build up some portfolio.
Bitcoin has always been a beast, it gives profit when least expected, you buy altcoins hoping to make good profit from them, boom bitcoin hits the sky and traders dump their altcoins and join the bitcoin party. Bitcoin is my first choice investment and other good projects follow.

yes, the bull already show up now, but, if we comparing this bull with 2017 i think its not fair, because now we run at the beginning from the bullish trend

well,all u say its right,but in this cases its about how much money u have, lets say just a 100 bucks, for some like this, better buy a cheap token or coins,
when the bull run its coming i guess more profitable than hold some bitcoin with 100 bucks value.
Of course, we will wait for a similar increase in cryptocurrencies as in 2017, that's my guess. Someone considers wise an investment - to invest in new projects. But I mainly hold bitcoin and top 10 coins.
Bitcoin is the best option for long term investment. BTC price could just go to millions in future years but like i always end up saying here altcoins are great too.
