On side note, it's somehow unethical to share personal message. IMO you better remove the image since you already got the answer.

I'm definitely not a newbie though but I don't post much because it's so sketchy still.  Technical indicators don't work much at the moment.

That's just how many forum works

You both knew this forum in 2013.
That's a very long matter of wizards vs wizards, raminnoodle,

raminnoodle, Long time inactive, since 2017, you were bewitched in 2014, now you have a reputation for accusations, that doesn't make sense.
Dude, now it's 2020, everything has changed. It's impossible to dig again, it's rather tiring.
You must lock this topic, maybe the raminnoodle witch is dead or in hell.

Don't understand what you want.

OP I guess now you got the point about why you actually get these red flags.

If you don't want to receive any personal message from newbie then forum allows you to restrict their PMs.

All you need to do is go to your Profile => Personal Message Options => then uncheck the tab of "Allow newbies to send you PMs"

Like Rizzrack has mentioned, the warning refers to the person who sent you the PM, not the recipient.

Sometimes you might visit a profile and see some red or yellow warning flags attached. This one applies to any rank if the subject has received loads of reports/ negative trusts.

The screenshot is from your inbox.
That warning alert will appear anytime you receive a PM from a newbie.
Does not say anything about the user that messaged you (trust, feedback etc) besides the fact that he/she is a newbie.

Alert was added because there were some scamming attempts as gentlemand said:
Those are private messages and that message is added to messages from new accounts because people were posing as established members with very slightly amended usernames in an attempt to con people.

Don’t panic OP , this is just normal, as soon as you are not a newbie the red warning lettering will disappear  Smiley
Edit - beat me to it gentlemand

Thanks everyone.  When I look at it, I can't actually tell if it's me or the person sending me messages that's tagged.  I don't have those tags on this post those so I'm very confused.  Thank you for understanding.

I'm not a scammer.  I made a "good buck" doing bitcoin right in 2017 but after christmas in 2017 someone couldn't handle/understand the downtrends and every since then it's been like dealing with a whining baby for two years.  It's not fun or cool.

I'm definitely not a newbie though but I don't post much because it's so sketchy still.  Technical indicators don't work much at the moment.

just found it sorry buddy,  here's the screenshot.  I guess you have to go digging but you can find it.  Apparently there's an option somewhere where the mods or someone can tag you and this will pop up somewhere.  It's not ok

Now that I look at it again it might not be me it's tagging but it made like it seem like it was.  I still don't think this is ok.  Admins should just ban a person if they show a constant behavior of abuse or lying to the community.

on oh second thought.  It's still not ok but it might be actually tagged on another person.

Sorry if this isn't actually what happened but that's still not really cool. It's actually a feature.

I don't think I should delete this though.

Hello

Although my post count says I'm a newbie, I'm not.  However I looked at my profile history and noticed there have been "witch-hunt" like tags claiming I'm an "imposter" or I shouldn't be trusted.  here's a link of of some of it I managed to find from an old post about bacon coin or whatever it was:

This is completely uncalled for and whoever implemented this should really have a conversation with their superiors.

Sure my posts were four years ago but I don't need that on my profile if I know what I'm doing and have over five years of experience (or more) with bitcoin and trading.  There's a lot of felonies being committed in the market right now and I'm even trying to start a lawsuit over it (I've called multiple attorneys) but that doesn't make this ok.

What the actually F#$%?  Seriously.  Turn that off.  That's not ok, that promotes harassment.
