why dont the devs of LTC simply change the code to allow for POS, surely this would push the price up eve further
That's one of the worst suggestions I've read this year. We like LTC with their POW, staking is against Bitcoin logic. If you like pos' and masternodes please go to other coins. There are multiple pos/mn shitcoin in altcoin announcements board.
