No matter 0.001 or 0.0005btc should not be a big amount to buy imho especially if he has a guarantee to withdraw 0.007 from the freeroll.

That's the point why I'm quite curious with his loan application, the amount won is big, I don't think he can't find a way to get the required deposit.
Also, I would like to know what particular free roll promotion he is talking, I tried making a research but I can't seemed to find the free roll OP is talking that requires a deposit, what I found was an old free roll promotion and it says it does not require a deposit.

I'm just saying that the casino requirement is normal.
No, it isn't. As far as I am concerned, some of the most reputable gambling website requires their user to deposit a minimum of 1USD in order for their user to withdraw their funds sitting on their website and I have never seen any legitimate gambling sites which forces their user to deposit greater amount than 1USD.

These schemes of "deposit before withdrawal" is widely used by fraudulent mixing and cloud mining services as well as some crypto gambling website.

Hey! Whatever website, investment site or even gambling site that requires to deposit an "X" amound of bitcoin to be able to withdraw your winning or giveaways are most likely to be SCAM.

A person comes without money to the casino, gets free money to try, wins without risking anything and wants to cash out.
And SCAM is a casino?

Actually everything is vice versa. Only the deposit requirement deters such users from registering 100ds fake accounts per day.

I'm not saying the user is a scammer in this case. I'm just saying that the casino requirement is normal.

If the site needs you to deposit some amount before you withdraw, it is better to leave the site because I doubt that it will let you withdraw the money. If we can win some money from the site, and we don't deposit any money, the site should allow us to withdraw the money because that will be their risk to lose some money. If they don't allow and ask for a deposit, maybe that is a sign to know that their site is a scam.

May I know what site you are using?

OP missed this information, we should know atleast to avoid that site since some casinos minimum withdrawal is 0.001 in cloud and 0.002 in wolfbet and stake.
OP also posted in micro lending with the same reason but different asking amount.

Based on the thread he created on lending board, the website he won the freeroll is Nitrogensports. He said that he can wait for several days to buy bitcoin himself, so basically he do not need any loans if he can buy it himself in the next few days. No matter 0.001 or 0.0005btc should not be a big amount to buy imho especially if he has a guarantee to withdraw 0.007 from the freeroll. If I was him, I would prefer ask my family or close friend IRL for that amount or simply wait till I have my own money to buy 0.001 to deposit on the website.

You have to show the website so that more dirt for a newbie like you, I'm sure this is a scam site that asks for a deposit to make a withdrawal from the site so you won't get stuck there, many have advised you here if you insist then it is your risk.

Honestly, I want to know about the site you are talking about so we can investigate it more deeply.

I can do that for you actually. But first you need to send me a collateral of 0.0022btc so i can give you 0.0011btc. When you get your money you can send me my 0.0011btc back. Deal?

LOL, good deal mate. I hope OP is alright and he can find ways to get the BTC he needs. It's not against the forum rules to borrow money, you can make a request anytime you like but no one will approve a loan of a newbie, unless with collateral, so mindrust is correct, just go with this deal.  Grin

OP missed this information, we should know atleast to avoid that site or be ready to withdraw only at such amount to avoid disappointments since some casinos minimum withdrawal is only 0.001 or 0.002 in wolfbet and stake and other casinos have no minimum withdrawal amount at all.
OP also posted in micro lending with the same reason but different asking amount.

I bet their minimum withdrawal fee is high because some other casino site it just only 0.003btc like vipgame and fortune jack is 0.004btc.
I'm not sure if that's the minimum withdrawal fee of the site OP is using.

I think it's nice if you tell us what site so we can help you verify it if the site is legit or not.
Haven't heard a site that requires a deposit in order to withdraw, expect for the scam sites.

It's weird that you have to borrow some btc just to deposit, and before someone will provide you that amount as others been said here you must a well known here in the forum. Also just to inform you in a local board there's a lending section well you can try as what you have said you can set a meeting on a skype.

What's weird is to borrow when you know members will not approve a loan from a newbie without a collateral.

It is a need for you to ask the support team why it requires some deposit or have to check your account if that 0.007BTC is already credited. Because it is really weird how it goes like that. Some gambling sites imposing some withdrawal minimum just like fortunejack(0.004btc only) but 0.007BTC is big enough that they never allow it.

I'm not sure if you are telling the truth or just lies but in regards to asking a loan, I'm not sure if someone will give you that amount.

Hi,

I won 0.007 btc in a poker site in freerolls. But I need to do a deposit of 0.0011 btc at least to withdraw. Someone of you can lending me 0.0011 btc. I will return 0.002 btc in 24 hours, probably less than 24 hours. I have not bitcoins and I have not idea what the collaterals are. I am a noob of bitcoin. We can do a meeting on skype or other websites so you could trust me. Please, its just 0.0011 btc.

This is not a lending board, you have already applied a loan here (https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/micro-loan-5269322), just wait if your loan gets filled.

May I know what site you are using?

I hope it's not a scam site so you can claim your winning successfully.

I wonder why the site will require you to deposit that amount first before withdrawing your win. Are you sure the site is not trying to take advantage of you? You probably should post the site link here so members can help you verify whether it's trustworthy or not.
Concerning the loan, I guess your potential lender would need some guarantees that the fund will be repaid. This is why they would normally require some sort of collateral (virtual collateral maybe)

Secondly, I don't that think that any member of this community will try to lend you even if it's just a small amount of bitcoin due to rank barirer and your reputation. And yeah, you've got red tag.

Before you request for btc loan to the forum you have to be well know, looking out your account is new account,so know one can trust you by lending you btc except the people that knows you.
And again is not possible for member to lend btc, because I have not seen someone that lend btc even ETH for unknown person.
everything is by Faith.
Am not disputing the fact that seeking for btc loan is wrong but try to build trust with people and make yourself popular for th community first because know one knows who is a scammer.
