I had the same issue - ArcBit seems to be unresponsive. However, I am still able to go into my arcbit app and retrieve my 12 word recovery phrase as many in this forum have suggested using. After that I downloaded Bither for iOS and went to settings>advanced options>import from phrase

it then asks you to put in the 12 words one by one by one. once you do that your bitcoins should be restored!

I was super frustrated when i thought I would not be able to retrieve my BTC from ArcBit, but with this passphrase workaround it should be no problem!

I went to the twitter account of the developer of the interface (@timlee01) and saw a tweet he wrote to some venture capital firm saying "sorry about the incident this past tuesday with the bat. didn't mean to scare your employees. I'm at a more calmer place now. You think we can work things out between us over lunch"

looks like the relationship may have soured and he may have lost his mind.

when i go to back it up it say acrobat cannot open files
That doesn't answer my question...

When you created the arcbit wallet, you would have been given 12 words (aka "seed mnemonic") to write down. Do you have those 12 words? Huh

According to https://github.com/arcbit/arcbit-web, they do have 12 seed as a backup, so it's highly likely OP can still access his funds. Pretty sure he can recover it as long as he stores it somewhere safe.

Seems arcbit is now "defunct"... App removed from app stores and website has gone. Highly likely this means the backend servers or API that it was utilising are no longer operational either.

Did that wallet have a 12 word seed mnemonic/recovery phrase? Or provide the option to export your private keys? Huh

Seems like moving to another wallet app using one of those two methods might be your best option to access your funds at this point.
