Sorry to confuse you, I transferred 0.001 BTC and that works out to 0.0005 BTC with the withdraw fee.

Still unsure why it took so long to come through after it was marked as processed, but I'm happy to know it all works now.  Smiley

there are 2 txs now. so... the questioned amount has arrrived? 0.00061 BTC <~ this? then all is good?
btw for 1st tx https://blockchain.info/tx/3c2018fb1324be6c07d4dfe3ad679aabeeec724b87dc03d0bb86bb212d81c5fe
what I see is tx amount of 0.0005 BTC with tx fee of 0.001 BTC,
though I don't know how much exactly they charged you for the transaction.
were your account deducted 0.0015 BTC or just 0.001 BTC? it's not important, I'm just curious

All funds are accounted for.

1ST transaction - 0.00111 BTC (0.0005 BTC Withdraw Fee) = 0.00061 BTC into my external wallet.
2ND transaction - 0.001 BTC (0.0005 BTC Withdraw Fee) = 0.0005 BTC into my external wallet.

My exchange had the same fee for both transactions, there is no way to change the fees when withdrawing.

Well, good news. I have both amounts now showing in my Trezor!

Ok, so I tried again a few minutes ago transferring 0.0001 BTC to the same address and it went through without any issues.

there is only one incoming tx to that address and that tx has 15 confirmations
I don't see a 0.0001 BTC in your address except that 0.0005 BTC

Wallet address: 3McXBzQW2yMcbMfWcGNbkCtbZHyJ9cCRew

TX ID: 770d96ef7923fedaf2484e9848b02f30857404e114003b5ee4eb533eac6141a7 (I believe this is correct, this is the string on numbers that automatically opens on blockchain.info when I click the link on my exchange.)

I'm starting to think the initial amount yesterday is going to be unrecoverable.
how much was it and are you sure you input the correct address?
you should email that exchange and ask about your 1st withdrawal issue

Interestingly, when I transferred the first amount yesterday - the withdraw went to processed immediately; tonight it sat on unconfirmed for a little while before going through.

I'm starting to think the initial amount yesterday is going to be unrecoverable.

The problem is coming from the exchange then (assuming that It's not a scam). It happens sometimes for some reason where exchange generate wrong TXID while they didn't send anything. It's better to contact their support team.

On my exchange, the withdraw shows as processed and the destination shows as a valid BTC address - yet the transaction isn't found and the funds aren't in my wallet. It's been 24hrs and still no sign of them.
which exchange? can you tell us your withdrawal transaction id?
what is your trezor wallet address, so we can check on explorer for its transactions
your transaction may still be unconfirmed or your trezor is connected to a node that hasn't seen the tx

Should I abandon hope and treat these funds as lost? Cry
no... relax. if the tx failed, you should see the amount returned to your exchange account balance
bitcoin fund cannot disappeared just like that, blockchain will show you the money trail
it's only a matter of honesty and willingness the involved parties to rectify the problems

Edit: Funds are accounted for.

Hi All,

I just got a Trezor and transferred a small amount of my holdings over to the BTC wallet to test all is working. (Which I'm glad I did now)

On my exchange, the withdraw shows as processed and the destination shows as a valid BTC address - yet the transaction isn't found and the funds aren't in my wallet. It's been 24hrs and still no sign of them.

Should I abandon hope and treat these funds as lost? Cry

Apologies for the newbie post, still new to securing my coins after holding them on the exchange for a while.
