Hi hugeblack,

I verified your link: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/--5504774 and you are right, It is unfortunately a scam.
All the red flags are matching! :-(
Hence the $100+ fees for transfer etc.
I deleted my previous wallet and reinstalled a brand new atomic wallet app.
Got back the cryptos using my seed phrase; but the ACT coins are still showing.
I reinstalled the wallet yesterday and the ACT were still showing yesterday and today: the wallet is clean: just showing my other cryptos without the ACT.
Am I ok now?

(Just want to say Thank you to everybody who tried to help me! I wasn't trying to scam people... I was trying to genuinely getting help.)

Hi,

I have 45,000 ACT (BSC) coins which worth about $1,000 (probably more by now...) but I don't know how to exchange it for USDT (It is asking me to use $100+ of BSC for gas if I want to transfer elsewhere...)
The 45,000 ACT (BSC) are in Atomic Wallet.
I have no much Idea on Atomic wallet but if you say the token is in bsc then the fee should less than 2$ to transfer from your wallet to exchange account. Bsc is actually cheap for transaction and except you are talking about Ethereum Network then i can consider it to be usual fee, however i don't your are legit because you would want people to send in that fee and immediately you received the next is to pull it out instantly without them have to transfer out the coin from the wallet. I suggest the offer is too risky to be acceptable to help out.

Shishir99,

I genuinely need help.

Please check what hugeblack already posted. You are not alone who received that token from an unknown source. You are lucky enough that you did not had transaction fees to cover. Otherwise you could have come to the forum writing a thread on scam accusation board. Please stop spending time on it. You are going to waste your time and money if you keep research about this.

I had a doubt that you could be a part of the token team member who is going to trick forum users by giving seed phrases and make them try to swap, or send it. But, I want to give you the benefit of doubt. You should lock this thread and move on.

I think you need to read ------> ACT coin (BSC) suddenly appearing in my wallet

It is a scam and most likely a loss of your money.

If you bought the token, you better be careful with your investments and if you didn't buy it, you got it for free.
As for the Atomic Wallet, it is better to use another wallet.

I suspect it is the one with this contract address 0XD5DA8318CE7CA005E8F5285DB0E750CA9256586E, which is a scam token according to honeypot.is. I also had 60,000 of these tokens airdropped around the same time that the 60K ACT appeared in your wallet.
Maybe thats why it got a huge gas fee requirement. If this was a honeypot then OP is wasting time to claim a trap scam tokens. If you had that means he thought that what he had was legit and trying to spend gas to claim that. No wonder the gas fee is $100 those scammers are trying to scam him with that amount.

Scam spam tokens are everywhere thats why users should not pay attention to it when they saw them got value on their explorer since these scammers nowadays can make it have a value on those sites making it looks like legit.

The ACT that is in your wallet might not be the one listed on CoinMarketCap. You can check your address on a block explorer and click on the token to see what the contract address is. I suspect it is the one with this contract address 0XD5DA8318CE7CA005E8F5285DB0E750CA9256586E, which is a scam token according to honeypot.is. You should be able to transfer it from your wallet if you lower the gas price to 1 gwei, but I wouldn’t even bother. It is best to just ignore the tokens. I would also switch to a different wallet because Atomic Wallet is not secure and the people behind the project are the same ones as the Changelly and Freewallet scams.

Hi cryptoaddictchie,

Yes, it is more than $100 in gas fees: see the pictures link below:

(I can't add the images to the forum)

Here is the link for the images: https://postimg.cc/gallery/txt27Dp

Image 1: When I access the crypto in the wallet

Image 2: When I try to transfer the 45,000 ACT - it says I need at least 0.265 BSC in the wallet. That's too much!!! It's more than $100!

Image 3: When I access the ACT (BSC) in the wallet before doing anything else.

Image 4: When I select the option to change the gas fee/network fees. (By default, it's set to 5 GWEI, and the fees are already $155!!!)

Image 5: When I lower the gas fees to 1 GWEI, it's still $31!

Here is the image of the coin on coinmarketcap:

What should I do next?

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Charles-Tim,
You are right: Yes, the fees on BSC Network is usually much lower!
Yes, I'm pretty sure the ACT on my wallet is the one on the link to send on coingeko:
https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/acet

BTW: a couple of months ago: when the price was much lower: I had a couple of BSC in my wallet and was able to transfer a couple of ACT from My Atomic wallet on my phone app to my Atomic Wallet on my laptop and the transfer went through; Now I'm stuck.

How do I verify the contract address on Atomic wallet for the ACT?

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
nakamura12,

Sorry, I'm NOT here to scam anybody.... If easier: just don't contact me by email if you want; I just need help.
My ACT coin a couple of month worth less and they are growing in price... I just don't want to lose the money. Please!
As Charles-Tim pointed above: this is the coin on coingecko: https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/acet

Please just help.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Porfirii,

Thanks; Yes the coin is https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/acet and I have to send it to a crypto market in order to exchange it.
But I can't move it out of the wallet at the moment.
I think the ACT token I have is the first one on the first picture you send above.
How can I verify the contract address of the ACT in my Atomic Wallet? I don't see another option other than the one showing up on the pictures I sent:

Here is the link for the images: https://postimg.cc/gallery/txt27Dp

Thanks in advance for the help again.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Shishir99,

I genuinely need help. Don't use email or anything else you don't want. Just tell me as simple as possible how to move the ACT out of my Atomic Wallet from my phone and where I can exchange it If I want to. That's the only thing I need! and I'm even able to give the equivalent of 100$ in ETH, ACT, BTC, USDT or any other crypto that the person who can help me would choose. You can do it even for free and without email if you want.

I just need help. Please.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Rikafip,

Yes, I'm trying to export it elsewhere: another wallet or crypto exchange; but the fees I way too high!
A couple of months ago: I was able to send a couple of ACT from my phone Atomic wallet to my laptop Atomic Wallet.
But now: The fees are way too high!
How come?
What should I do?

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Roseline492,

I don't want to scam somebody or get scammed.
I just want to resolve the issue.
The ACT were acquired long time ago when it was worth very little.
The Tokens are legal not scam.
I just want to send them somewhere out of my Atomic Wallet and exchange part of them; but I'm stock with the ACT in the wallet.

What do you suggest?

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

nakamura12,

Just help me without using any emails.
The transaction fees were around: 2-3$ a couple of months ago when the coin's value was much much lower.
The transaction value is rising with the value and congestion of the network but... not to $100 right? or it it?
I just want to send them somewhere out of my Atomic Wallet and exchange part of them; but I'm stock with the ACT in the wallet.

Help!

You are right because the whole thing is not adding up and OP needs to be careful so that he would not loss his ACT or get scammed of the $100 because is obvious that since the OP does not know how to convert the ACT means that he could possibly get it from the event they participated and calculating based on the market price @Porfirii brought means that his total of 45,000 ACT is worth $1,122 and is a lot of money for a project to give out  so if I'm correct that it was through such event he got such amount he should be careful before sending the $100 fee to that wallet and also to be very sure that the ACT he has on his wallet is the same as the one on the coinmarketcap because nothing is impossible for scammers to create but if he is very sure of the ACT he should disregard any help by anyone coming from the YouTube since he had already created those videos, so is expected that some persons which their motive is unknown will certainly reach out to him.
I also feel it's very suspicious right from the start I read the OP because why would a transaction requires $100 for transaction fee. There's a possibility that OP will ask to help converting the token to usdt using the money from those who sre greedy that wanted to help hence the email that OP wanted to be contacted with since forum is already enough for someone who needs help with the tokens that OP wanted to exchange to usdt.

Guys!

I am smelling something bad here. This is a common way to convince people to fall for this trap. I don't think OP genuinely needs help. He wants people who are greedy and will show interest to help him and then try to scam him. But unfortunately, he will get scammed instead. Didn't you guys see that they post seed phrases on Various social media and ask for help? I have seen a thread on Scam accusation board created by willi9974 a few days ago, look at this thread Warning: Increased postings on Facebook and other social media with 12 words. I assume OP has the same intention.

Do not fall for this type of scam.

That's probably not the best place to look for help because chances that scammer will contact you are quite high.

***First of all: I have to be able to send out the coins out of the wallet in order to do anything else; right? hence the issue above. What can I do next?
Have you tried exporting to another wallet, because it makes no sense for Atomic wallet to ask for such a high fee on Bsc chain.

OP, like other members here, I tried to find ACT in Atomic wallet but it doesn't exist there, at least with that name. Do you mean the token Charles-Tim mentioned, Acet (ACT)? I found it in CMC as well: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/acet/

The rest of the "ACT"s I found aren't BNB tokens. But please, clarify this doubt for us.

If that's it, I'm afraid that you won't be able to swap it directly in Atomic. You'll have to send them to one of the following Markets, and make an exchange there:

I hope it helped. Please, let us know about your progress.

Edit: I think that some of these markets aren't trading the token you said, but a different one, so be careful where you send them if you don't want to lose them. I suggest you use PancakeSwap and make sure that this is the token you want to sell,

and not this one,

because once you send them to a wrong address, I'm afraid there will be no turning back.

Transferring bsc tokens shouldn't be a problem for you since as they have explained that transaction fee for bsc network is not expensive and it shouldn't be about $100 just for fee unless it is a different network like erc20. There is a possibility that it is a scam token which may have the same ticker but different token. Make sure to check if it's the right token and add some bsc to your account to be able to transfer it so you can exchange it.

ACT must be a token, not a coin which is why it requires gas (BNB) for moving but it can't be like $100 like you said, it will be hardly about a dollar or 2 since the TX fee on BSC is relatively lesser compared to ERC20 or other network.

https://bscscan.com/gastracker where you can find the fee needed.
The fee should even be less than $1. Transaction fee on BSC network is very cheap just as you posted.

Are you sure it worth a $1k also Ive checked the token ticker on coingecko but there is none act tokens in the name of atomic something. There is arc but for other names and its price is much lowered so a 45k tokens isnt barely worth 1k. Maybe thats a scam one. Also if you are using bnb for gas, I doubt it will be $100 just to spend for it in transactions. Thats too much considering how low the fees on bsc network.
He meant that the token is on Atomic wallet. This is the coin that the OP might be referring to: https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/acet which is a BSC token.

If possible OP can check the contract 0x9f3bcbe48e8b754f331dfc694a894e8e686ac31d it would be good. This is because cryptoaddictchie is also right that any coin can be created that can have similar name with another coin and it might be a scam or not.

The 45,000 ACT (BSC) are in Atomic Wallet.
I'm open to give $100 of ATC (BSC) or $100 USDT to someone who will help me convert it to USDT.
