I really expected interest in this thread since we all had a discussion about the women world cup, but I am just disappointed to see that women football have not really developed to the extent that it can attract the attention of men too and be equally discussed as the men's league.

Let's see how the league goes before I will know if I will be interesting in it or not.
Full time results from the first round.

Aston Villa Women   1-2   Manchester United Women
Everton Women   1-2   Brighton and Hove Albion Women
Arsenal Women   0-1   Liverpool Women
Arsenal loosing at home, failing to start the season good as the male team has.

Bristol City Women   2-4   Leicester City Women
Bristol City did not get the welcome they were expecting on their promotion back to the Women super league.

West Ham United Women   0-2   Manchester City Women
Manchester City start well with three points even though they missed a penalty, and also had to finish the game with ten players.

Chelsea against Tottenham is Live now.

OP, you did a great work here. I am not really a fan of women football but if I am less busy and I feel like watching football and there is any women league going on, then I can just give it my time.

I wouldn't say that I didn't enjoy the last female world cup because it was interesting, but I still think that I wouldn't enjoy it up to when the men are playing their matches. I appreciate your effort to create a thread for active discussion on women football and I believe that other forum members will love it. Let's see how the league goes before I will know if I will be interesting in it or not.

This is a place to discuss all things related to the WOMEN's SUPER LEAGUE

Women football has become better and is now even enjoyed by both men and women as we saw from the women world cup where discussions where active about it. It is my opinion that the WSL deserves to be discussed as the men's premier league is discussed.
