It’s kind of wild to think about, but wouldn’t it be fun to see how Halloween would look in the crypto space?
A Halloween in cryptocurrency can be a blood bath, a massacre on altcoin market and I am sure that altcoin enthusiasts won't feel happy when reading this post.

Bitcoin failed to break $70,000 and it can be down to about $60,000 in a coming correction. People will be easily panic when they face with Bitcoin corrections because in their mind, a Bitcoin bull run can stop anytime. In addition, history shows that in Bitcoin corrections, if Bitcoin is down 10%, altcoins are down 20%, 30% or 40%. That's how massacre on altcoins happen, all starts with Bitcoin corrections.
Yes, that symbolizes it. Halloween event is fun and we won't lose a huge amount of money here for celebrating but not the Halloween event in crypto the way you describe there. I say that because I realized that crypto communities like this forum can also do a celebration like Pumpkin carving contest. BTC already broke $70k before and that was when it had an ATH of $73k.

Right now, it was standing strong at over $60k and I don't smell a dip but only a pump or the bull run that was postponed last time is now going to be resumed again. Only those who panic are the newbies but experienced users doesn't. Also, correction is only small and not something worthy to panic about.

Just thinking out loud what if Halloween and crypto crossed paths? Like, imagine the two worlds blending together. One is all about spooky surprises and candy hunts, while the other keeps us on edge with unexpected price spikes and new tokens. Both thrive on the thrill of the unknown, and honestly, I’m starting to see some weird similarities.

Maybe it’s the idea of always chasing something, hoping it’s a treat and not just another trick. It’s kind of wild to think about, but wouldn’t it be fun to see how Halloween would look in the crypto space?

Maybe what best thing you could do is to check the price historical record of crypto market when this festive happens. Since for that for sure you can get an idea seeing those stats on what possible gonna happen with crypto in the market.

But so far there's no significant changes happen since it remains like that. But if you look at the crypto platforms maybe you can see some of them promoting or doing good marketing since this is the way how they can able to catch the attention of their potential clients. But for price changes or anything well no overwhelming changes happened so far.
Which this one will really be the most common step that people would be doing or trying out to check upon with those market conditions or price on a particular month or season and would really be trying out to reflect on the current or present that we are really that dealing into. Although there would be no assurance that it could happen again but just as been said that it do really rhymes up and this is why people will really be always attentive on whatever those upcoming season or days of the month or any events or happenings on which they do assume that it will be making out such movement.

Just like the rest on here is that i dont really believing that much when it comes into these kind of sentiments but usually people will really be having those kind of observations on which basing on the past on where they do really assume out that it could happen also into the future. There's no one into this market will really be able to predict on where things would really be happening into.
Expect the unexpected and dont really assume that much that there will really be that some massive or significant pump on the day it do really reaches.
Market could just move sideways or having those kind of increasing or decreasing kind of state on which no one really knows.

We don't have Halloween here in my country so we don't have such a culture and I don't know what impacts these holidays can have on the markets or on cryptocurrencies.

As for the idea that there is some similarity between Halloween and cryptocurrencies or the possibility of mixing the two worlds together, it may be a bit strange but it has a point, because someone who is new to the world of crypto is afraid and a lot of dreamers at first, he is afraid of this new world that he does not know much about and at the same time he dreams of achieving wealth through crypto.

There would be different events in crypto projects though, in my opinion, but overall, as it was said - there would be little to no impact on the market due to the event not being tied to crypto, in general.

I had this idea. Can be a way for soe promotional activity that'll drive traffic to platforms. I've seen halloween events on binance, minero and RN I think platforms like bitget are buying the idea cos they released a memo for one soon.  For me though, Halloween isn't celebrated in my country, but I'm guessing it's a cool experience. What do you think?.

I do think that the real rally for BTC just hasn't started yet, so.. no need to panic, however, only time will tell.
Anyway, the results of what we predict will be only known down the line in 2025, in my opinion.

Probably just like another day  Roll Eyes. the volatility in crypto as of now is enough to make people scared beyond what halloween could pull off.
so I expect people just more fixated into looking at the market than celebrating halloween if somehow the price of BTC jumped up above $70k because it's just a lot more fun.

but I expect halloween to be just like any other weekend day or holiday, people don't trade much at that time and the western market didn't become too active, maybe occasional swing but thats it.

Or maybe "threat"?  Cheesy As you can see how volatile happened these past few days, $70,000 was denied and a lot of liquidations just because of that, billions of money liquidated.
But as I can see now, it seems that rejection from $70,000 was just a pullback now, so we still have time I believe, I expected this to happen and I am still waiting for the end of the month as during the end of the money we can see some huge volatile. Still early right now.

I believe most crypto users are not very lavish when it comes to spending their btc. What mostly do is spend their fiat and not their crypto. Because the mere thought that the price will increase, will be one of the motivating factors not to sell their stash.
I agree with you, but other than emergency situations, the holiday seasons are the ideal times to spend Bitcoin. In addition, Bitcoin winters are long. Those who bought at $66,000 a few years ago did not make much profit, so keeping Bitcoin requires a period of four years or more.
Timing is everything specially if you would really be that wanting or liking to have that possible maximum profitability then you cant really just that purchase out coins without having any basis.
If you dont really mind too much about your price entry then this wont really be an issue but if you would really be trying out to have that good profits then this is the moment that you would
really be that keen on taking up such entry because the thing that comes up into your mind whether the price is already at its bottom or into its peak. It would really be impossible that you wont really be
wary about the market conditions on which you could be able to distinguish whether the market is on that great bearish period or already into that extreme FOMO or hype.
To those who had been on extreme fear wayback when Bitcoins price dips @15k then for sure they had really that able to have those kind of regret because that was already the bottom.
There were those people who had been anticipating for the price to be touching up 10k on that point but it didnt happen. For those who had risks or gambled out on making those purchase on 15k
are the ones who had made out most profits into their Bitcoin holding as of this moment. Some of them had made out some DCA but actually it will really be just that depending basing up on the actions
that you have done since not all would really be that good when it comes to risks handling and would really be trying out to sit idle while they do see opportunity passing up into their front.

Smart is not enough, there must be skills
Halloween and crypto converge? It's already a part of the celebration but I think it's new that Halloween and crypto converge I don't think it's going to be significant in terms of price or new tokens, usually the celebration is for fun and giveaways especially exchanges that do competitions with a Halloween theme.
Meanwhile, October still remains a good month for bitcoin.

The impact of the holiday seasons is almost negligible or non-existent on the cryptocurrency market, as during the holidays and festivals people rush to buy gifts, which means that some may sell their Bitcoins and thus prices fall. In general, the market witnesses many variables and the holidays are definitely a weak influence.

That's the good thing for other countries, they don't have to worry about such events. Because in some areas, they really do spend good amount of money. Think of the decoration itself. Such a waste of money afterwards if you won't re-use the materials bought for this occasion.

Depends what kind of Halloween you get. If its just spooky and creepy, then crypto world is already Halloween every day.

Witches and shady guys all in LinkedIn and Twitter trying to scam you with cheap tricks.

Airdrop baskets sitting outside to tempt you and when you grab them they scare you with a rugpull.

And like all the supermarkets doing Halloween themed things and Starbucks limited edition pumpkin drinks, all the exchanges and scammers market their limited themed NFTs and promos.

So kinda similar right?

Maybe it’s the idea of always chasing something, hoping it’s a treat and not just another trick. It’s kind of wild to think about, but wouldn’t it be fun to see how Halloween would look in the crypto space?

Halloween in the crypto space will perform for those who first of all observe Halloween; for us, we would look for it for the purpose it serves. Halloween is not a significant event for some people who are interested in cryptocurrency and may consider it something as childish.

Though some of us would think that Halloween is not an enough event, there are some other events that happen within a year that we are used to, and that if happens in the cryptocurrency world will be very interesting to us, maybe others too, leading to an effect.

Maybe price could trick us just at the close of the year or maybe not, but I have this conviction that the final quarter of this year it's actually not gonna be a trick but a treat for bitcoin price although not from any halloween effect whatsoever but from other socio-economic and political factors because from what I understand not so many people give importance to these halloween rituals. IMO, this thread would have been more suited in the bitcoin speculation board than trading discussion.

To be honest, I don't usually observed some significant effects that are bound to happen during halloween. And if ever there is, like prices tend to give us a better performance, I only think that since we are in the last quarter of the year, the crypto market tends to be more bullish, thus giving us positive prices not only for bitcoin but most of the potentials coins in the market.
