Anyone has tested on it?

I'm interested in any Android alternative client and would like to hear some comments from testers if available.

Verified awesomeness ✔
I will just stick with Mycelium / Hive. I trust them a lot more than an Android app created by a newbie with no credentials. Sorry.

It's your choice, but everything will be open source if that helps...
Well, that certainly helps. I do wish you all the best and I didn't want to be an ass. Sorry if I came across like that. Good luck with your project and I really hope it succeeds!

fyi there is a Kivy based Android Client that is officially being developed under the supervision of Thomas and his associates.

What is the different between electrum (python) and electrum Android verson (java):

They will work the same way, but they are coded in two completely different languages to make electrum work better on Android and can be downloaded from google play. I know there exists a Python-based Electrum client you can install using android scripting layer.

If you want to help (please leave some love):

How long time will this take?

I don't know, it's not done over night, you can follow the prosess here: https://github.com/mariogrip/electrum-andriod
