I have seeing on twitter that many betting sites are using bitcoin to bet about winning.  Now cryptocurrencies betting sites are really using this world cup to create popularity. I think we should also have cryptocurrencies and bitcoin price increase as many people are using bitcoin in trading.

I expect this will be a big step forward for the crypto market until the end of the year thanks to this World Cup and also for online betting. Grin Grin
FIFA world cup this year will surely increase the volume of transactions conducted in the gambling game. The number of participants will increase as we are easy in doing the gambling. In the World Cup this year then all the development of the majority of gambling players have chosen crypto and the development of all transactions have been on the path of digitizing. Bitcoin is perfect for supporting gambling games and this is a great time to develop Bitcoin, now more and more people are becoming aware of Bitcoin and Bitcoin's price will slowly increase. We all hope all this can go very smoothly because when all aspects are on a positive path then everything will end beautifully.

I think there is a good comparison between World Cup in Russia and World Cup in Brazil. In 4 years crypto and crypto gambling made huge progress. I remember I couldn't find any gambling website in 2014 which accept in bitcoin, and now there a lot of them. Love it!

There are plenty of betting sites that already use cryptocurrency as payment / betting method, so I am sure they will also be accepting World Cup bets in crypto (as they have done in the past with different tournaments / sports). However, that may not be the push to attract new users to cryptocurrency as I feel most of the ones placing the bets in crypto will be previous crypto users / gamblers.
I do hope it brings more trading volume at least.
Yeah of course they will use crypto. You know that betting on games is illegal and forbidden almost in the whole world and bitcoin is also decentralized it means that bookies will use crypto for their bets. Now payment will be easier with the use of crypto throughout the world. In my country there is lot of gambling on sports but they use local currency.

We believe it wouldn't affect it that much. Yes, it's one of the biggest sporting events in the world and all, but still, if you compare it to other periods where all the major leagues (Premier League,Primera Division,Bundesliga etc. etc.) are playing, the bets worldwide would still be a lot more than there are right now. If you compare it, 1 week of world cup has around 14-15 games. On a casual Saturday there are hundreds of high profile matches alone so don't expect any significant price pop or mass adoption because of the world cup.

we might see increasing value for the particular sport betting sites because people will more excited to bets but i think those who bets for every matches still dominated by regular players and the rest probably still bets at their own favourite house bets however most people says true that this is have not an effect for crypto development that today entering group stage matches and bitcoin price seems still stuck with no sign to increase
if you go to some of the biggest soccer sites you will see so many visitors and who bet there and this possibility has something to do with the price down if seen there is a possibility they take some of their bitcoin assets to bet on that soccer site.

Only gambler will be interested in your apps. People like me will never gamble on sports. I know that people from all over the world gamble on sports but I think this is the worst thing especially in bitcoin. I don’t know why people use their bitcoin in online gambling? Gambling is bad thing and you can never win anything from bitcoin. Sites like this one will take all your money.
Why not? It's just fun to see that there are possibilities to earn while you predict matches. If you have fun watching the games and be excited about it, it's totally not the worst thing. What you are saying is somewhat not okay to people who gamble, if they can do it, why not? If you do make sure that you won't lose money, then it's settled, you can have the chance to but it's still up to you.

Hey, everyone. I actually have some exciting news. As I may have mentioned earlier we're excited to have all the World Cup games featured in at least one free FootballCoin contest.

Today we can announce that we've launched our mobile apps (for Android and iOS). We've been getting great feedback on them and I hope you enjoy them as well. They're available in a multilingual version, so hopefully everyone will get a good idea about what we're trying to do. They can be downloaded here:

https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/footballcoin/id1383697287?ls=1&mt=8

Football is the most watched game by the world people so it also will involves lot of gambling and betting. So crypto gambling also have a huge part in that and already there are many sites offering betting services and some offers exceptional bonus for worldcup betting. So this may helpful for the other people to come know about crypto currencies so which may help to increase the adoption rate of crypto currencies hopefully. In fact most of the gamblers will be active in current time because of the football worldcup. In fact crytpo currencies will also play their role because people now like to play gambling using online currencies, which is more easy to play. I myself now giving more preference to play gambling online which is in fact more easy for me to play as compare to visit a casino.

I am sure that there is any betting industry that will accept crypto as a bet but unfortunately, I don't know what the site is. and if crypto is used, then it will bring a new hope for the crypto to be spread more widely among them. besides that, after the World Cup, I think the crypto will reach more people because they have an experience for using the crypto and they will still use crypto for their purposes.
but in fact this does not materialize. not many fiat gamblers have switched to crypto, maybe that's because of falling prices, so they have worries if they gamble using crypto currency. do not expect yet I wait for the market back at the pump

I assumed that it would happen, because crypto and games are a great blend to follow the world cup way, like the already popular gambling that provides payments through crypto and that's great there's a big advance where lots of people want to follow it, now there's a site that provides services during the World Cup, so to remain cautious also in the selection of game sites because there are still many scams everywhere that take advantage of the current world cup moments.

I think there are online gambling sites which accept crypto as betting medium. Since cryptocurrency is a new trend and a new type of currency, then it is not impossible to have sites which accept  it as a form of betting for the prestigious event.

You don't need to think about it, there are many bitcoin sports betting sites, and traditional sites that accept bitcoin. This will not be a big step forward too crypto market, but it would be interesting to see some numbers how many people made a bet with crypto, how much with fiat.
People who have some crypto will bet with crypto, but I don't know how many new people will try to purchase some bitcoins in order to bet on sports with those bitcoins. I hope we will see some calculations after the end of the world cup, but who can make it and how I don't know.

yes they will definitely use it because it is more convenient to pay with them and there are many people who cannot pay for gambling from their bank cards so they will need crypto to pay for that.

Russia being one of the country that give importance to bitcoin hosting the football event is the big thing for the cryptocurrency industry. If this has taken place in some other country cryptocurrency might have not got huge impact. Over the days can expect positive impact on cryptocurrency due to the betting industry and the increased usage of bitcoin within the country.

This world cup event will bring a good impact for cryptocurrency, I hope. Demand may increase and may affect price movements as well. Online betting with crypto is a better choice for some people especially for those from countries that mark gambling as illegal.

From the time Russia and Saudi arabia match started time onwards we are seeing the bitcoin and other coins going bigger in the market bro. We need to check and wait for some days to find the potential big bump in the market.

Hopefully we will see the price can go bigger in the market for sure as everyone expected. Simple expectation are becoming true as like year bump expectation to reach the 20k USD want to reach and settled mate.

It should become a booster for the current weak market situation that more likely to get dropped , a little bit confusing actually.... In the last 5 or 8 days cryptocurrency market looks in steady bearish, not sure it could have a big effect due the World Cup event that possibly makes a lot of people interested to use crypto to place their betting but one thing I can highlight that in the first day of World Cup ... Bitcoin value itself has gained around $400! Isn't it a good sign? Gambling industry actually always has a big impact into cryptocurrency market , I just feel a little bit doubt right now.

With the introduction of the crypto currencies, the gamblers are finding doing gambling to be much more convenient as this is something which is helping them in so many ways especially after this new concept of the online gambling. There are number of gamblers which are busy in gambling and that they are betting a huge amount of money on every single match which is being played in this event.

Yes, this world cup will increase the use of crypto market as gamblers and gambling industry will let it go on large scale. The demand will increase and as we know that the current market of Bitcoin and other coins are low so the demand of people will increase more and more and match after match. Online gambling will also use it and this is huge benefit for gamblers and to take advantage of this time.

I feel like any sporting event is just a a big opportunity for both the users and the online gambling sites to make some large amount of money whether its crypto or fiat, and since world cup is probably the biggest sporting event, for sure many people would be punting their money or their cryptos into a lot of games, and probably some online betting sites will have like bonuses or something which is always good for us.

I believe there is nothing that we can't say about gambling. In this past few years crypto has become the most hype thing that people need to know, besides there are sportbetting too that keep on coming towards the world cup and they will make pretty good event to attract people to play. Even dice games like bitsler hold world cup events too. So if you wondering if they are doing this or not in crypto, I can guarantee you that it is for real

I don't really think that the world cup will have that big of an impact on crypto betting.
It's the traditional bookmakers that are buying up all the ad-space to promote betting on the world cup.

Why do you think it will have any sort of impact on the crypto market?
I agree with your point. At max it might increase revenue of the betting industry but I do not see crypto industry getting any kind of benefit from it. It is not that new investors would prefer to bet via cryptos instead of fiat.
I am seeing a lot of posts around the forum regarding the same. Maybe it might create a FUD and people might actually end up investing more during this phase in order to reap benefits later on as the world cup progresses.

When the IPL matches taken part time itself we see many gambling website update them for betting option with the matches. For world cup football matches and all we can easily expect that to happen bro. You do not need to worry about that at all.

Then I have plan to bet for the potential team matches like while Brazil, Germany, Russia and etc team playing.
Hope every speculation seems positive since the cypto investment will be go bigger on the gambling sites and marketplace movement with demand.

The World Cup has always represented a celebration of sports and a chance for people across the world to come together. I hope this will serve as a model to the crypto world.

I do think the World Cup event can serve a good purpose to all interested in crypto. After all, crypto is supposed to meet the public's needs. When there is interest in an event taking place on a global scale, there are also numerous services created, all which potentially require cryptocurrency.

FootballCoin is taking a special interest in the World Cup. We'll be hosting the games through our competitions, giving users the chance to prove their skills.

We're also glad to report on the competition, giving news, tips, social media posts and hopefully becoming the place cryptoenthusiasts will use as their go to place for all things World Cup related.

Not long to go. Let's hope for a memorable tournament!
