It's kinda good when you become a world cup winner and holding that title for so long and being a brand ambassador at the same time.

This man, Roberto Carlos, who signed up as a brand ambassador of lucky.io which is a blockchain-based online casino. Lucky.io seems to be a good platform and will have some upgrades to it. Nowadays, It's easy to be an ambassador of a brand if you have a title or very popular.

Roberto Carlos is one of the best players ever and as lucky.io choose him as a brand ambassador their brand is going to be much more stronger.
It is known that people connect those two stimuli and place them in the same category. As RC is famous and powerful, lucky.io becomes the same in the notion of customers.

I think we will going to see the other famous people that will be an ambassador for one project. With using the popular person in the sports game, it will attract more people to come to the project, and many of them will invest in the project. The important thing that the developer and the team need is how they can communicate to that popular person so he/she will be interested with the project so he would help the project by promoting to his social media or another way.
Its possible because it can cause a huge impact, though we can't really assure that people will be fascinated to invest in the project because it depends and even if its good it can have positive and negative influence on the project.

Having a famous guy like Roberto Carlos promoting your brand is a big win.
However,I think that this type of promotion is more suitable for the sports betting niche, not online crypto casinos. After all,Roberto Carlos is a retired soccer super star. Smiley

Lucky.io is certainly entering the sports betting business sooner or later. Paying an icon, although retired already, as a sports ambassador is one step closer to this goal.

By the way, just this year the retired World Cup winner Denilson of Brazil was also signed by Sportsbet as a brand ambassador as well.

For sure, retired icons are a lot cheaper than active ones. And yet they seem to still represent the brand well since they remain well-known among sports fans.

Sports and sportsperson are just advertising and they do it about any ethical business. Arsenal's deal with cashbet was the first measure breakthrough of cryptocurrency into football. If sportsbooks like bet365 and betfair can do a partnership with the clubs than surely ICOs and crypto sportsbook can do that too.

Of course if you have title or popular more people will look to you (the things you do, the things you use, etc.) that's why some of the artist or popular personalities was hired by companies to promote their products through their personal social media accounts.

Also that's works on the same field in gambling a world champion working on a lucky.io what will happened then? of course more people will play in this website, it's a double win for the owner of the gambling site. They hired an employee and having a advertisement at the same time.

Well, everyting is possible with money.  Wink
Maybe Roberto is a fan of gambling sites that's why he becomes an ambassador of that platform. They do need any celebrities to their project/platform so many users will invest and try it.

Join the world-leading crypto sportsbook NOW!
Like the dude, but not sure there's really any big news for Lucky.io unless they're a sportsbook that puts a lot into football. Sounds more like it's a casino (that's how it brands itself as well) so it's not really super relevant.

Kind of like how Messi was the ambassador for some blockchain phone. It's really, really not relevant, is it?

Blockchain-based footie manager game maybe? All the same, cool news and good to see crypto gaming firms slowly creeping over into that territory!

Nothing special! It might create some hype but doesn't mean that Lucky.io would increase its traffic.Lucky.io is a casino site and I thought
it was a sportsbook but it isn't.They might hire anyone which is famous but neither which way where paying up these personalities
would add up into their expense and the results doesn't give out an assurance for positive ones.

I also have similar understanding on this platform! However, while browsing their website, I found this,

Quote
LUCKY.io is currently undergoing a major upgrade, with an updated platform on the way, as well as a brand-new gaming currency: the LUCK token. It will use the token to build a fully self-governing ecosystem combining provably fair gaming with world-class slots, tables games, live casino, sports betting and more.
The new platform will be formally launched at a major international blockchain conference in August, with details to follow.

So their Sports Betting portion of the website is not live yet! I tried to find reviews about this website and I found none at all! I am just being redirected to luckygames.io which is obviously a very different entity!

However, what I found is that the same domain is on sale at Afternic.com for 88 grand. Check the link below,

They could expand into the realm of sportsbooking. They clearly have the money so why not do something that is legitimate and attracts users from different niches?

Its nice to see such a known face getting involved with cryptocurrency related niches.

However I am not sure how big of a role he would play as an ambassador because most betting sites just pay these players a lump sum money so they can use their images, likeness, persona to promote their brand. Often without much involvement from the so called ambassador.

Well, in this case, betting sites always user marketing strategy so people will be attracted to their platform. They are capable of paying Carlos as an ambassador so I think it's okay as long as it will be marked as a legitimate platform.

Most of us are being proud when they knew someone or in the same race that is getting involved with cryptocurrency.

Football is pretty big here in Romania. I remember Roberto Carlos for his incredibly impossible goals from hard angle. Especially that famous or infamous Madrid game.
