Private Message me the SKU you like and we can begin working this out. I will eventually have the website admin add the BTC Accepted here logo once I show him that Bitcoin connoisseurs would definitely purchase fair trade, handmade artifacts from dozens and dozens of countries in this small world we live in! A lot of profit goes towards building schools and providing technology to those without it (those who actually make these products on my website) I would love to eventually allow some of the profits to help children obtain internet access in remote areas where most of this stuff is actually created.

Please let me know if you think I should make this business my family member runs into a business that accepts Bitcoin!

Why not? What does he/she have to lose by accepting bitcoin?

I won't be buying anything anytime soon, as currently I've got loads of other expenses, but I like the website and the prices seem pretty reasonable (not sure what are the delivery costs).

Accepting bitcoin itself won't instantly drive a masses of new buyers. But it can work out quite good if you create a dedicated thread in a marketplace section (regularly updated with new items, discounts etc) + be active on reddit.

Another thing - offer small discount for paying with BTC. Just share your lower fees savings with the customers, that always leaves a good impression. And participate in events such as Bitcoin Black Friday.

Good luck!

I think you could have something going real soon if you implemented a BTC payment system of some sort.
Maybe create a side-service letting other users sell their own hand-made items. Kind of like an eBay.
