A Cryptocurrency startup named Currency.com based in Belarus has recently launched a securities trading platform allowing individuals to invest in equities, commodities, and indices with their crypto holdings of Bitcoin or Ethereum.

This startup currently has over 150 tokenized securities and eventually plans to roll out 10,000 different tokenized securites to their customers.

Investors are able to purchase these issued tokens with their cryptocurrency, meanwhile the tokens they purchase perform identically to the assets listed on NASDAQ.

Investors now having the ability to use crypto to invest in stocks like Apple, Netflix, or Google for the same cost of the actual share, brings us one step closer to greater adoption and regulation in the cryptocurrency space.

The issue of trading shares is far behind our problems. Rather, we need to deal with problems such as legal regulations, electrical problem, measurability, scalability ... at the beginning.

On the other hand, it is great to hear that regulation about cryptocurrencies. It can works.

It would be nice for Crypto world if this startup succeed. Which I doubt, at the moment as their are many regulation that they have to clear.

Anyways this is a Big move for mass adoption. I hope they are able to do what they have started.

I doubt SEC or any other government institution will allow that.

When talking about stocks or any other traditional investment, legal certainty is one of the most important aspects. If there is any sort of legal complication, you may just lose your stocks. This is very risk in my opinion.
