Some of the bad experiences I have suffered are the following:

- In Etherdelta, in December of last year someone managed to do a massive hack on the web and managed to obtain the private keys of those who wanted to enter over several hours, taking large numbers of ethers.

-In Poloniex, in June of this year they froze my account without warning, and they do not allow me to make any movement until going through an arduous process of verification that does not allow me to start despite my efforts to do it correctly.

-And recently in Cryptopia, where I suffered a hacking attempt and despite blocking my account to prevent it from being looted, mysteriously and without explanation the Cryptopia team granted access to the hacker minutes after I blocked my funds.

In the dying days of Cryptsy, I watched people convert their coins to an unpopular coin, just so they would eventually cash out their money,I was hesitant and just about the time I decided to join them, they also suspended withdrawals from that coin and that was how Cryptsy succeeded in running off with my hard earned coins.

Yes I remember those days. I was actually surprised why a certain alt like LTC was trading higher there than other exchanges.

So I bought that LTC on another exchange, depositted to Cryptsy and sold it for BTC for a 10-20% profit, and then when it turns out I can't withdraw that BTC. Did some investigating and turns out there BTC wallet was empty, so I quickly reversed the trade and basically lost a large percentage with spread and trading and withdraw fees but luckily got all my alts and BTC out of there before they were COMPLETELY insolvent.

Would of been a very bad experience. And that was a very popular and trustful exchange. Should of just admitted the theft, did what Bitfinex did and it would of been alive today and that admin wouldn't have to hid in China somewhere.

My very worst exchange experience was two weeks just when i began trading. I actually bought a coin and decided to keep it for a while. Then one day, i went on the exchange to sell it. Just after selling my coins at low price, then the market price of the coin began to shoot up. i was angry at myself and cursed severally.

I have no such extremely scary exchange experiences, but I suffer from liqui because of high withdrawal fees, it is also very silent exchange that scares me.
Then move your funds to bigger exchanges (Bittrex and poloniex, but make sure you have verified your account first or you won't be able to withdraw your money, Binance (my best choice), you don't need to di Kyc on here).

I myself have experienced problems with large exchanges such as poloniex, a few months ago poloniex experienced problems with withdrawing and happening to many people. I did DGB withdrawal but they didn't finish it. more than 5 months my coin was not sent. I submitted a ticket but there was no response. I'm sure some users have experienced it.
I think Poloniex not like in past, maybe because there are larger user that trade in there. But now their support is lack of responds. That is why it will be bad if we have problem especially with withdrawal. Luck i still not get that experience yet.

Poloniex used to be one of the dominant trading exchanges last year. If my memory serves me right, it likes around mid year last year that they became sort of very slow in responding to user's issues and then it went from good to worst in just the next couple of months. They blame the sudden surge of crypto traders, so they wasn't able to adjust their business model that time.

Just a few minor misses for me in HitBTC but it was resolved in matter of weeks. Yeah I know resolving a issue in couple of weeks in not good but I still trade with them.

However, most issues though come from exchange will few thousands of users that's why I stay out and doesn't want to do trades with low volume exchanges. The change of you having issues is very high and they might pull a scam stunt in the end.
Most of us had withdrawing problems on the internet, that is not a big deal. It happens even to the best sites, some network problem or anything else, most of sites solve that problems after a day or two. With yobit I waited almost all week once, they had some problems, but I didn`t cry about it, and I don`t think it`s the worst thing that can happen with any site.
Exchanges make profit from users, more they have more money will they make, I never had big problems with exchanges cause I was always honest, I never scammed anyone, why would I have some major problems with any site? I think people who had big issues with exchanges tried to do something wrong and when they don`t succeed they cry how site is crooked, and rigged, be fair and you will not have problems.

I have bad experience with exchange of HitBTC because they did not distribute Ignis airdrop. I been loss alot of money by buying NXT but they does not distributed Ignis till now. In the their blog they was support this airdrop , but i dont know why they did not distributed it.
You shouldn't be blaming hitbtc for your airdrop. As far as I know the project devs are the one who are responsible in distributing the airdrop and they just use hitbtc since their token was listed on it.

The worst exchange platform which I had experienced was when the time that I used etherdelta , during that time I was selling the coins which I had received from the bounty I joined and it was listed on this exchange then when the time that I am selling it all of a sudden their server has been under maintenance then by that time I didn't export or full out my private to their platform. It was a doom and worst to me so after that incident I promised to myself that I won't use that exchange anymore.
Had you loss your funds?
Before, I used forkdelta and the same thing happen, they have their maintenance and I already imported my coin. I'm reluctant and afraid that I'll loss my balance but surprisingly, it's safe. Goodness.
You should try contacting them in their discord or TG channel.

My problem with etherdelta is that they do not have a warning prompt when you are making a transaction because once you click buy or sell, it would immediately submit and then there are times when you are lacking something and you can't cancel it anymore. There's a time when I am trying to sell a token but then there is always an error but my ethereum has been deducted transaction fee several times. Their orderbook is also delayed in updating and there are times when it is so slow to transact there.

I think always find a good exchange to trade especially the exchange that many people will trust and I think you what I mean. Leave that exchange and full out your funds their because it will be lose if you stay there to that exchange.

Here are my some of my bad experiences,
In centralized exchange, Poloniex, I was using Poloniex's Platform peacefully for a couple of months,
but when I tried to verify my other account, suddenly when I tried to reload the page it says that
Poloniex blocked my IP address, and that problem wasn't solved for a couple of months and their
support is trash, no response for months.

In decentralized exchange, IDEX, Forkdelta, etc. The first time that I visited their website I was
so confused... yes, their web design is very complicated, I had a very hard time using their platform,
hope they will improve and simplify their tools.

I had a bad experience with Poloniex, I waited for verification for several months, and did not start trading on this exchange. And there was a bad experience with OKex, on this exchange it was incorrect  window for verification, and the technical support window was not translated into English, I never started to work whis this exchange.

I think the worst  exchange experience is you losing your coins or investments  beacsue of trusting wrong company in this is kind of business because they are a great pretender that they are trusted company.

Yes there are some exchanges that pretending they're trustworthy and reliable company. But of course there are many exchange site that really good and sometimes people did a mistake and blaming the exchange because of their loss. We should know that it's all depends on how we learn about it.

There are a lot of things that happened to me on the past, as an example, i got stolen more than 70 on Bittrex because they did not allowed me to withdraw my coins because of the enhanced account.

70 Bitcoins or other altcoin? I'm having the same experience too when I came to a point where I didn't able to provide such account verification and I didn't able to recover my account back and this is what I don't like on using up exchanger because anytime they can able to make issues where you would need to comply something before you can revert such account. The worst experience I believe is on where exchange would really be hacked.

Bittrex.

people say Yobit, but Yobit has always been considered a terrible exchange and they are not denying it either. so bad experience is expected from it!
other cases such as Cryptsy, Mt Gox,... that scammed and ran away are bad but they scammed you and ran away.

the Bittrex case however is the worst because they scammed a lot of people and don't admit it while they continue their services. basically they handpicked certain groups of their users and banned their country without giving them any prior warnings and that meant all their funds were blocked and robbed by bittrex.
Shit is this for real mate?they do this intentionally for their users so it wont look like scam but the truth is yes?this was the first time i heard about bittrex I thought it was agreat exchange im so disappointed.

But about the OP how could the support of that exchange talk like a  bystander ?it wasnt the right manner how to make calm a client that whos eager to have an withdrawals

mtgox was always the worst but the second worst I've had was bitfinex allowing a withdrawal of 10btc then freezing the transaction and requiring all kinds of info about it

Maybe you didn't read their TOS perhaps that's why they require all this kinds of stuff?

I have a similar case with the OP, I guess every exchanges out there owe us and they should give us a good support at least. Not just exchanges but gambling sites as well. If not for us traders, they would last a single minute is this cut throat business.

Many people are having  a bad experience in different exchanges, and some of them are good and don't have a problem. Lately I've experienced in some of exchanges but not that worst it's simply and they solve it in few hours.

Wow I didn’t expect such a reply from an exchange. No matter it is a weekday or holiday, I believe an exchange has to operate 24/7 since trading is on.

My worst experience is with Poloniex, it take a long time like 1 month or 2 for the support to reply to my ticket and give me irrelevant answer.

Thank you for sharing this chat transcript with the community. These types of exchanges are actually creating a lot of inconveniences to the traders. But what was the final outcome? Did you receive money to your wallet? If not, please open a thread in the scam acquisition section to let the community know about your experience with them. The link of the section is below,

Few days ago when Quarkchain was going to list in Binance, I have had chance of getting QKC at 0.0002 ETH in IDEX about 5-6 hours earlier.  The moment QKC was also just listed in IDEX.  I have tried to buy it but the website stalled.  I have tried and tired but could not get my order executed.  After an hour, I decided to get out of trade because it was around 0.00030 ETH.  The moment it listed in Binance, it crossed the 0.0004 ETH mark.  If my order was executed, I would have doubled my investment in merely 6 hours.

Yes, I understand what you feelin dude. I have been in that situation many times and I wanted to throw my Desktop in front of me. LOL. You are lucky because you are just looking for a just x2 of your investments. Many times I can even have it x3-x4 but sadly those decentralizes exchanges sometimes are just overloaded that they need to stop investors from even logging because their servers can't handle the volume of transactions specially the case you mentioned.

Still YoBit for me. Poor and shitty customer support, just like the rest of the members experienced.

Looks like i have company from Yobit, i had my worst experience by being a bad holder in one of the many scam coins in the exchange and then i have the worst user experience from Poloniex as i deposited my coins and it was not visible for almost three weeks and there was no response from the team till they sorted the issue.
@OP are these the chat from their customer support, it looks ridiculous.

It's really ridiculous, if he know the risks he should stay away from with it. And there many different exchange that you may choose, why would you not check the options? Every exchange site are have a problem sometimes but they find an solution to solve the problems.

Luckily I've never had one. I never let money sit around on there. I never bother putting money unless I'm fully verified if there's a verification policy. I'd never put really significant amounts on any of them. I wouldn't get rolling with one without plenty of research.

People seem more accepting of the junk out there in cryptoland than they would be in other areas of their lives. I remember when I first looked into BTC and Mt Gox was still the go to place. I dismissed it within five minutes of googling and went straight to Localbitcoins.

They really do this? Chat support?
Wow I dont think there is one who would waste time like this. There might be some bad purpose behind all that bad mouths of them.
Better get out of there as soon as you can.
They are trying to make it look like you are the one wrong at this.
You should have also never made them angry just make it look like they are right and then report them afterwards after you got your money out of them.
Dont risk it when your bitcoin is still in their possession.

Cryptsy was my bad experience. For those that don’t know, it was an exchange a few years ago that was just like many of the exchanges now like Binance or Bitfinex. I had money invested with them and did a lot of trading. I really liked that exchange. Then all of a sudden, they would not let people withdraw funds and claimed that they got hacked. Then they just shut the site down. It turned out that they mismanaged the funds and the owner stole what was left and fled to China. I lost a lot of money on that site.

yobit Angry Angry

I took lots of money from my bank account to buy bitcoin (see that for me to buy bitcoin I had to use payza + exchange + advcash and the fee were 20%, but ok it was for a big investment) and go to yobit to buy many altcoins that I believed that they had potential and had potential if it were not yobit ban the dev and delisted the altcoins that of 450 satoshi to have the price of 1 satoshi, 4 satoshi and others had 2500 satoshi, the fact that I lost 100% of my money.

Dude, I stayed days without understanding... why the hell yobit did such a thing

Monkey Trader, [17.02.18 00:53]
Lol what

JPM, [17.02.18 01:00]
I think you might be mistaken. If investors like my self and others were to take our business elsewhere their would be no Quoine market.

JPM, [17.02.18 01:01]
By the way I thought you were customer support not customer bashing.

JPM, [17.02.18 01:04]
Do you treat all of  Quoine"s traders like this or just the one's looking for a straight answer?

adrian, [17.02.18 01:34]
FUD

adrian, [17.02.18 01:34]
Just leave

adrian, [17.02.18 01:34]
Go to binance

JPM, [17.02.18 01:53]
You Replied: REGULATED EXCHANGES ARE DIFFEREN. My mistake I thought I signed on a DECENTRALIZED EXCHANGE you know one that does all the regulations like a BANK. Like
When they are nice to you when you deposit money. But when you go to take it out they have multiple reasons why you must wait. Kind of like QUOINE No FUD intended.

adrian, [17.02.18 01:56]
U don't understand the privellege you have been afforded

adrian, [17.02.18 01:56]
Stop the FUD

Anders, [17.02.18 02:03]
[In reply to JPM]
Withdrawals are done on business days normally. It's CNY/Lunar New Year all over Asia.

If they are overloaded, sometimes it takes more than a business day as well.

There is no automatic withdrawals. Your crypto is in cold storage and withdrawals processed manually.

Happy New Year

Anders, [17.02.18 02:03]
*are

JPM, [17.02.18 02:35]
Is what you are trying to say is that maybe I should go BINANCE where they treat the underprivileged
Better than QUOINE treats the privileged.

JPM, [17.02.18 02:40]
So now my crypto is in cold storage.
QUESTION: Do you really know where my cryptos are or are you making this up as you go?
So now my crypto is in cold storage.

adrian, [17.02.18 02:41]
Go to Binance

adrian, [17.02.18 02:41]
Ask Binance support

Anders, [17.02.18 02:45]
[In reply to JPM]
No need to be obnoxious - people are helping to explain (ie explaining why nothing has happened yet) for free.

Anders, [17.02.18 02:46]
Obviously no normal user has verified if it's really cold storage or not.

Anders, [17.02.18 02:49]
Anyway - Happy New Year. Your withdrawal will be proceeded within some business days most likely.

(There may be a huge backlog after the holidays - so I'd mentally prepare for that all withdrawals may not be proceeded the first business day)

Anders, [17.02.18 02:50]
Don't know why people have questions about withdrawals on nom-business days. Didn't you read what you signed up for? It is a well published fact that's the way Quoinex/Qryptos operates.

Anders, [17.02.18 02:51]
*non-

adrian, [17.02.18 03:00]
Exactly

adrian, [17.02.18 03:00]
This isn't Binance man

adrian, [17.02.18 03:00]
There is a reason why the coin isn't mooning and Binance is

adrian, [17.02.18 03:00]
If you want excellent service go to Binance

adrian, [17.02.18 03:00]
Zzzz

JPM, [17.02.18 03:32]
So, what you are telling me and the rest of the CRYPTO COMMUNITY is that QUOINE is worse than a BANK. At least with a BANK I still have ACCESS to my funds after hours including CHRISTMAS & NEWYEARS. I would like to thank you for ENLIGHTENING me and the rest of the CRYPTO COMMUNITY.
I will be sure to share these new findings with my fellow traders. Just to name a few.
1.  QUIONE will gladly except all DEPOSITS 24/7 since they do not do this manually.
2.  Only try to withdraw funds M-F during business hours.
3.  If you do try to WITHDRAW FUNDS and have a PROBLEM and want excellent service go to BINANCE.
4.  If you would like to know where your CRYPTOS are again you go to BINANCE.
5.  In reality, it could take DAYS before your CRYPTOS are transferred.
