I think the fact that quite a lot of big Bitcoin users and supporters also threw their weight behind Grin was quite an indication of just what kind of project it was going to be. Maybe not everyone was on board, and we do have to admit that the perceived monetary policy hasn't actually given rise to actual utility. But only time will tell for sure.

I noticed that this coin has lost its value quite high compared to the time you mentioned it. Grin's price is currently $ 0.355. The Altcoins can hold their price or not, the trend is up both depending on Bitcoin and GRIN is too.

i remember this coin back in 2018 i guess when even the Forum administrator supported this one https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/grin/
but after years why does this currency keeps on falling ? after reaching a 10$ value 2 years ago , I almost invested 30% of my funds on this but lucky that i changed my Mind because after couple of months Nothing good happens.

I can't see any good potential if we choose to invest in GRIN because prices continue to fall and in some large markets Grin does not have a volume that can be called extraordinary better look for other coins like top coins more stable and avoid the big risk if it decreases
Why not try to compare this actual usage or relevance? I do see that this GRIN is much better compared to those high valued but do lack out of real usage compared to this one.
I do see for this to be an undervalued project.It might not really be taking too much attention even up to this years but lets see on how long they would be existing around.

why is binance not adding trading for Grin?
I am presently extremely worried about new tasks, tragically we don't have the foggiest idea what's in store from the generally notable ventures, so by and by I will forgo new in this market. I think Grin is deserving of contributing while the cost isn't too higher to even consider buying. Grin doesn't perform well this year and the price almost went deep down from where it was from the beginning of this year.SO it was just hyped more when Bitcointalk accepted it as form of payment.But it does have decent trading volume so there is hope of recovery in the next bitcoin bull run so this could be chance to get some cheaper.

Here in my place, we are group of 10 people who are into cryptocurrency trading, and I just asked about the remaining 9 people and none of them really knows or has even heard of these project which I am all inclusive, of all my entire activity in cryptocurrency market, I think this is the first time that I am going to be hearing about this project and from what I can grab from you here, which I will also try and make my own findings.I think that this project will truly be one that came for the real blockchain technology and not just the money alone for them to have established a decentralized coin. This coin is a tool for mining and it is really difficult to predict what moods will prevail this winter. Unlike other unstable coins, GRIN has a good community support where you can always be the first to know about important events (e.g hardfork 2019 details) . I see grin at Coinmarketcap now has a price of $ 1 exchange available from grin coins too much and we are not worried about the exchange. I think grin is good but we have to keep watching the movement of grin to make sure grin is the right choice coin for investment
With the price is just $1, I think that coin is not too high to buy.Grin is one of the new coins that can be one of the potential coins in the future.
Maybe if we interest with the coin, we can prepare some money to buy and who knows, this coin can back to the high price before.

I don't think right now GRIN is worthy so that i don't recommend. I have more doubt GRIN trading volume in Hotbit and MXC (first time i heard about these exchange) exchanges. Today volume almost 18 millions dollar in single day how it possible. I think it’s really manipulation. Most provably GRIN will drop below 1$ because in the last three months it’s turned 4$ into 1$+ and still it’s go continuously fall down. Now you can wait a bit dump than do invest for long term. 
I think grin can be a good investment place because the price is still cheap and has a good development concept and I hope that the grin can increase demand so that it can make the price rise and to be safer better investment with a small amount means that trading capital can be used for other coins .
I followed grin coin for more than 6 months, but unfortunately the price is falling now ,. . even so I still put my hopes in GRIN because GRIN does have a code technique that is different from other coins,

Up or down depends on the market. Our market is very bad and Grin prices may continue to fall. We don't know for sure what will happen, but Grin has a good community and many genuine investors. Hope they will not be affected too much by the bear market.

In crypto platform number of altcoins are available in the market, But few only make success in long term relationship so we never predict it will suitable for long term. Because already market will hard to predict the future development so better we can concentrate top 20 it make good profit for long term.

And half year latter $1,32. I guess price decrease is slowly slowing down. 1 Grin is now 16k sat. I believe when sub 10k it might be worth to start looking into Grin. Still a risky and very long term investment. But the developers team is working well.
It still has a relatively low market cap though. Personally, I'm waiting for the price to come down below $1 and I'll pick some up. I mined a few back when it first came out, but I haven't invested anything in it. It all depends on what they end up doing with the project. Right now, it's remarkably average in my opinion. thats what i thought . grin has the potential to climb the ranks due to the fact that grin coin has a lot of publicity . the forum , theymos the founder , and other big personalities are promoting this coin but lets wait till the coin gets more mature because for sure the coin still start hyping again . but predictions may vary from reality. Right now GRIN is around 2 bucks and I do not see any point in investing right now, because the market situation is still very unclear.

This coin was totally unpredictable for me. I never thought Grin coin can go that high! Now, I think Grin coin is enough worthy for investment. This coin already listed many big exchanges and daily trading volume also very good.
I think you are wrong about that, grin was loosing a lot of value from its ATH but this one is not the worst compared with another coin like zclassic which has been losing 100% value from ATH. Grin is a good choice for long term investment but keep in your mind if big volume and a lot of exchange sites don't give you guarantee if that project will be everlasting. at least this mimble wimble coin was doing something better than the competitor

This might be quite old but if you OP did put up to buy lots of it when its $4 then you do make money when it did pumped up to $14 on january 28.If you did miss it up and still holding then the break even part was still on June and hitting up some few dollar profit on month of June to July when it

I think you are wrong about that, grin was loosing a lot of value from its ATH but this one is not the worst compared with another coin like zclassic which has been losing 100% value from ATH. Grin is a good choice for long term investment but keep in your mind if big volume and a lot of exchange sites don't give you guarantee if that project will be everlasting. at least this mimble wimble coin was doing something better than the competitor

Like you said, now is one of the chance to buy or invest in Grin but to be honest with you guys, in the future when Bitcoin and others are mainstream of payment there's possibility that Grin coin won't have what it take to survive in the crypto market due to it anonymity gravity cause the governments might be against it.

Grin is a very fairly launched coin (no premine/no dev fee) with a nice and interesting protocol behind it (MimbleWimble), but honestly, I don't see it as a good investment (at least not for now). Don't forget the emission scheme (1 Grin per second, forever), which means high inflation for the first years, so, I don't think its current price will sustain for much long. That emission scheme itself was made to not benefit early miners (and holders) at all, but to encourage the usage as a currency.

There is no harm in investing for Grin. The prices are high but one should expect that it might go down. For now, as long as the prices are good, go for it.

Once Litecoin implements MimbleWimble there's probably not going to be any value in a small-cap with infinite inflation having no distinctive qualities. Amazing tech, zero value. That's my personal opinion.

I did not understanding about fundamental analysis of this coin, but i know this coin listed and tradeable in gate.io and this exchange is very good because they has feature of trigger price that we can use it for stop loss, so if we are interesting to buy Grin just remember to use stop loss for risk management.
Grin has anonymous developer and ICO , that make it somewhat similar to BTC but on other side I read it is more difficult to transact (means less transaction and less demand) and infinite supply ( means coin will be minted with each block) so it might be short term gain or good gain in a year , due to hype or exchange listing but I am not hopeful in long term.

Currently, Grin market movement is increasing in spite of this bearish market which is still in effect but still it is not a guarantee that it will maintain the direction towards prosperity like i have observed the performance of Tron and Ripple which are become quiet for now after the series of pump. Guys, luckily yesterday I had bought 30 grin as a test @$5.10 and just now sold those. It was a good investment for me although I was not able to sell at $12+ and now I am thinking of buying some more once it goes below $8. Buyinh beyond $8 will be a risky investment.

I think the Grin is one of the most promising coins this year. It is like AION, HAT, and ETC. Also accepted on the forum as payment for copper membership. And for me on my opinion that was so potential alts and profitable.

I think it would be wise move to buy 1 000 grin and hold it for some time, but current price (7 $) is high and overhyped for coin with unlimited supply.
1-2 $ is perfect enter point, as for me.
But who knows, how much this coin will be cost in the near future - looks like Grin definitely will be listed on all major exchanges and price can skyrocket easily.
It's not a good investment if no one actually use it, or only use it for solely for hodl. Grin has its potential, but seems overpriced at the moment. It doesn't have a proper wallet and windows wallet. Meanwhile, BEAM has better UI, structure, and economics.

no one knows where this coin is going. just invest when you feel the time is right. invest when it hits the bottom. its leveling around 3.85 . so take your pick. theres also a chance it will hit 50$ if you are a long term holder. company is doing good things imo. if i had more money i would invest. but my bitcoin got hacked so i need to buy in again.

I think Grin have a huge chance to succeed, the distribution is fair as compared to projects like Zcash that comes with alot of criticism and since it is not been listed on many exchanges I expect the price to grow. I see this having higher Marketcap than ZCash and Dash in coming months. For me adding like 5% of its to your portfolio worth the risk
