In short it's the first version. You will find a small variety of games (at first) and will be able to predict a particular outcome to that event with a reward that is based completely on bets from other peers ie: If I bet $10 on Philly by sending ETH directly from my wallet to the contract and you bet $10 on New England doing the same thing, then when New England wins and the contract oracle triggers a resolution you will automatically receive $20 worth of ETH in your wallet (if ETH stays the same as we do not touch fiat at all).
In essence, every game is a peer-to-peer pool of ether sitting in a smart contract. The more players, the more ether. To start we will create games that will feature more than just a binary head to head distribution but rather something like predict the score of a soccer game on a range of 0-10 for each team. Thus, there will be at least 121 different positions that each user can take, increasing the pay out ratio on any individual position or score prediction.
