Also be aware that Bank deposits are not always anonymous.
Chase bank has begin requiring that anyone that makes a cash deposit into a bank account have a photo ID and be listed on the account.
Bank of America often gives the depositor the name and address of the account owner to verify that they have pulled up the correct account when the depositor provides them with the account number.
