Compliant to government or regulators? there are a lot of good coins that do not have compliance and they are still good and there are coins that have all the requirements but still end up a failure in the market, compliancy is good but it's still worth looking at the mechanism and the platform of the coin that you are supporting, remember Cryptocurrency is highly volatile and every coin could have an experience on what happened to Luna, so just follow the development and update on the coin you're holding, the worst thing that could happen to you is you're late when bad things happen to one of the coins you're holding.

that is right, the truth is - most of the alts are non-compliant with regulatory bodies or government. it is your own prerogative how you will invest on these alts. you will be doing your own homework if you want to invest in some of them. and you need to keep up with their current updates to know if they are worth to hold or not. if you feel the project is going nowhere, better discard it while they are still trading in the market. don't wait too long, because you maybe losing a lot already.

Some questions you have to find the answers,
- Did these projects conducted initial offerings in the US or other countries that has strict laws?
- Are these privacy or anonymous coins?

You should be good if the answers are NO. The current regulations only revolves around those two questions. Regulators want to know if it's a security token or not and if it could be a tool used to launder money.

This is cryptomarket, you can expect many projects that are not compliant simply because there's no regulations yet with cryptocurrency, and if you are living on a place where crypto is accepted even if there's no regulations then you can be good. Well, if you really want to have a good portfolio its always good to have the top coins on your list and honestly, I don't like how you diversify your portfolio.

It would be a big mistake to ignore bitcoin, but in general, the mentality of beginners is always the same, they do not see bitcoin as a good investment since it does not give them a huge return on their investment, instead they look to altcoins that will help them fulfill that desire.
The above coins have potential, but I would advise the OP to consider bitcoin and eth, bnb and only invest no more than 30% of assets in these coins, the remaining 70% should be invested in bitcoin, eth, bnb.
Many beginners ignore Bitcoin because the funds invested are so low that if you invest in Bitcoin you don't get high returns, but the drawback is that if the altcoin investments above are not guaranteed to make a profit during the bullrun market, so it is more feasible to replace some altcoins that are not worth change to BTC investments.

Straightforward choice but there could be deeper reasons why he has mentioned that. We're going to see if he replies back on this thread and tells why he's got that reason.
For now, I hope he realizes that bitcoin should be the first crypto that he should consider rather than those he has asked although they're also good to hold.

I guess we just have to accept the fact that many of them don't look at bitcoin at the beginning because they're scared and think that it's not a good choice because all of them have the same reasons, it's too much for the price so they think it is unaffordable.
Those altcoins that you've said, they're also good ones. I've got them on my stash but bitcoin should never be the last option for anyone who wants to have their stash have good coins to hold.

It's okay but why you don't want to consider bitcoin if you want to hold it? I think all of those that you've mentioned are good but it seems that the better choice is BTC. And there's no need for you to worry about compliance, just know the rules of your country towards holding cryptocurrencies if there are laws already established in your country.
Exactly what I thought, why when the OP is doubtful about the coins he is holding now, why doesn't he just hold bitcoins. I think that is one of the answers the OP should consider to have bitcoins in his portfolio soon. I think it's an easy choice, when we have doubts about a coin then hold on to a coin that we believe is good.

I think what you are holding is just fine in my opinion but if you did hold shitcoins then that's the time I will advise you to change the crypto you are going to hold. The cryptos you have mentioned that you are holding are major coins which major coins move like Bitcoin so, worrying about crashing of its price is not to be worried to much.

You have good coins on your stash so don't get worried about things like legality since crypto is not there yet so don't get worries about those things. Maybe try to focus on your trades for now and how you can earn profits because its more helpful if you monitor the market to gain from it, rather than relying on hype because if you don't know what you are doing maybe you could still lose your money even if you hold those good coins.

Good set for investing, but I would exclude Stellar from this list. The coin has been underdeveloped for the last 5 years and the fact that they never managed to update the 2018 ATH suggests that it is not a promising altcoin, but one of those projects that is stuck in the past, it is stomping on one place. You should also wonder what you expect from this investment. If x100 or something like that, you picked the wrong coins. You should choose from new altcoins and not from those that have already grown by thousands of percent. If you are considering these projects in the long term, they are good options, except for Stellar.

Before I can advice you on non Compliant crypto-currency you need to state the reason you joined it in the first place and right now why you doubting it. For so long I have decided to focus more on Bitcoin and If some time I decide to seek advice against it I believe I should state what I saw initially in Bitcoin and why am I doubting it. This was potential answers would be easier. Also trust you instinct it prolly shot you this far.

Even some of the centralized crypto is not fully compliant so I don't think there is anything to worry about, except your country's government has governing laws on crypto investment which you should worry about. Maybe you should look more into that to be sure you are doing the right concerning your investment.

If you are talking about investing, this is not considered a distribution of your investment portfolio, because most of these CRYPTOcurrencies deal in the same way when the price of Bitcoin rises, or vice versa. Therefore, in terms of investment, you reduce your profits and deeper your losses.

But if you are talking about technology, ADA & XLM is a promising technology that may stay with us for a while, but I do not advise you to invest more than 5% in them.
Regarding ATOM and VET, I personally do not see any promising future for them.

If you are concerned about these legitimate coins in the market, if you intend to speculate long-term, then start with such options. It's better that you don't go trending with the hype in this market. In the long run, I see safety as well as a good profit with the things you mentioned. Hold on to it and don't panic, but in my opinion, you also need to invest more in the basics of this market to avoid being confused by false news.

Holding ADA and XLM now. ATOM was a good coin as well but it seems like the era for web 3.0 already gone. I will prefer to take ADA and XLM rather than ATOM. VET was a very bad coin. I didn't like the fundamental of this coin. I hope that you can understand what i meant in my post.
ADA's ecosystem was growing so fast compared with another token as well. If the bullish market will come back again and im sure this coin will be growing so fast.
ADA may become the next solana based on the growth of its ecosystem and so holding it will become a very good choice for now.

I am holding ADA, ATOM. In my opinion these are 2 tokens with very good potential and future growth.
ATOM, I have nothing to discuss with what they are doing, but with ADA today they continue to announce the delay in updating cardano visil.
ADA's team seems to be quite slow in keeping the schedule for ADA. This is the 2nd delay, but i believe they are still doing their best and ADA will catch up with the others soon

Non compliant to the authority right? I think thats fine, bitcoin is decentralized and not totally following any rules or whatever standard the government are asking them to do, also founder is nowhere to be found so likely no one to talk too about terms and prerequisite of it. For me, you are holding major coins, its not gonna collapse just like that.
