https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/wts-bitcoin-apparel-get-em-while-theyre-hot-4591257

I have created a thread for my apparel, and for anyone that has this on their Watchlist and is interested in purchasing can ask questions, officially place an order or do anything else they wish within that thread. The store is open, we're now accepting orders. I will be locking this thread now, and I hope to see some of you guys in the sales thread! I'll shoot a PM to the couple of people that have already reached out to me personally for an order. Thanks for all of the discussion, support, questions and suggestions! Looking forward to more.

If someone sells a bitcoin patterned shirt online, I will definitely order it, the most important thing looks interesting and makes people tempted when I see I wear a bitcoin shirt.
because when I wear it the same as I promote bitcoin to people around me. and that's a very good idea.

Absolutely i would love to buy one or two as long as the designs are great the fabric is good but i prefer the cotton type of fabric cause it's much more convenient and easy to wash and fold, of course with a cheap and affordable price. If that's what your planning your business could boom and become famous by crypto enthusiast.

Why not as long as it apparels has good quality, last time I've seen one of the bitcoiners promoting their apparels also in this forum and it's all looks good but not sure abiut the quality. I think it's much better to design your own apparels for me personally.

Before maybe a year or two I would vote for yes, but these days my vote is no. The reason for that is retention of anonymity regarding any connection to cryptocurrency. We see these days how people become targets because they have publicly emphasized to have some BTC or are interested in the same. On the other side it also depends where person is live, in some countries with high living standards people do not pay too much attention on what you have on shirts, in some others it would be smart to avoid to wear something like that.

This is just my opinion, but I am sure there is market for such product - and I see many online stores which sell clothing&various items with crypto logos and quotes.
You do have a good opinion and I am sure even the Op would have the right target market as well as target countries as well. Unless for a country where there is like a siege on those who are crypto lovers, I would really not mind getting one even if the citizens do not pay attention.

You may think people do not though, but you had be surprised at the boldness of someone approaching you and asking to know if you are a crypto lover and if you can share some enlightenment. It has happened to me with one of my crypto shirts and who cares what the government thinks anyway, crypto has given me great opportunities way more than government ever did.

Obviously!!!
I have bought some bitcoin and crypto related T-Shirts already. I feel so proud to wear anything related to crypto, it is also a way for me to introduce crypto world to other people around me. Apparel with great unique design will make other people attracted to know what is that?

Anyway, I think you need to make 2 type of design. First design is for those who knows about crypto already and the second design is to make other people attracted to know about crypto.

Yes, Definitely!

It will be good publicity for curious minds, and as such it will present an opportunity for perons already having knowledge about it to share.

Bitcoin is here to stay. It is the future. Anything that will help it cement it's status is awesome

Yes, of course I will. I have worn shirts and hoods with many a  different types of inscriptions on it and nothing happened . Besides, bitcoin apparels is another way of marketing bitcoin  and making it aware to more investors and traders and by doing this, making the price of bitcoin to pump and probably create a regulation ground which might lead to general acceptance.

This could be a nice idea for promoting Bitcoin, we lack that, although I think it would have limited audience.
But quality clothing with nice and interesting designed Bitcoin details and logo would attract certain number of Bitcoin enthusiasts.
And the persons who are wearing such apparel would have opportunity to further advertise and promote Bitcoin because there would definetely be curious people who would want to.know some more.

It's a nice idea, and I'm sure the potential market for crypto clothing is big and growing, but I would never buy or wear anything crypto related. I don't want to advertise to everyone I know and everyone I meet that I'm holding cryptocurrency - partly because of privacy and partly because of the emergence of criminals who are physically targetting people to steal their crypto. Maybe I'm just overly paranoid.

I also noticed that child sizes are hard to get.

Child sizes should not be a problem; I think it's even easy enough to do a onesie for a baby. Bitcoin Baby Gear might be pretty hilarious. Shipping and handling will be fair, try to do my best to lower it as much as possible. I'm not going to be trying to make tons of profit off each shirt, as long as it keeps itself going I will be happy.

(IIRC, you're from US, am I right?).

This is correct. Minerjones normally handles a lot of other countries, though; I'm sure you've researched that option already, though.

IMO, you shouldn't limit the designs to buzzwords (I've seen some crypto shops [with such designs] and it's kinda hard to see the wow factor in them).
- There should be some sort of blending.

I certainly wasn't planning on limiting my designs to these kind of things. This was simple my starting point to get the ball rolling. I want to have dozens of designs, something for everyone and their mother.

How about expanding it into other promotional products as well (usb, bag, mug, cap, keychain, pen, lanyard and etc...)?

Definitely noted. I will take a peek at other kinds of products. Pillows might be neat, too.

I can lend a hand (if you want).

Yes, please. You're one of the most well-known and talented graphic designer around these parts. I would welcome your help with open arms.

Especially if you have the advantage in terms of quality, I think it will be very easy to develop.
Don't be discouraged, who knows later I'm more interested in the shirts you make or at least we can work together in marketing. Glad to know you will be concerned about quality.

I'm just wondering if any of you are willing to part with your coin for some apparel designed by yours truly and support a start-up business that would be taken seriously.
Normally, "yes" but due to my current location (even "Shipito" doesn't forward packages here), it's not an option for me (IIRC, you're from US, am I right?).

I'm planning on basing the designs off of the "buzzwords" of Bitcoin's original whitepaper, the common sayings surrounding our "culture" like "HODL" "vires in numeris", the idea of decentralization, freedom and other things I believe to be relevant to the mindset most of us share.

Shirts !  like those with a not to big BTC logo and darker colors.
Besides the designs, if shipping and handling fees are fair you will have customers interested.

I personally would buy a hoodie.

I'll hold you to that. Cast your vote too, Omega! Of course I appreciate and acknowledge the input down here in the thread, but your vote would help me garner a more accurate poll. Wink

I see a lot of people selling online as you're planning to do but I'm not sure where and how are they created? so as said above, quality should come first.

There are many sites that allow you to create or upload designs and place them on various mediums. Most people skimp on the quality and overcharge for the product. I was looking at the highest quality options, trying to figure out where the best materials, printing and production value would be had. A lot of sellers are honestly making too much profit on their apparel and wears. I would rather bring higher-quality products into the market, for a lower price than they are charging for their gear and bring more interest in altogether.

and as a suggestion, you could add "In cryptography we trust" for the sayings you already have.

The merit was for this suggestion, because I like it a lot and it certainly is something nice to have in the back-pocket. I've been struggling to figure out what to put, if anything, on the backs of a lot of the designs; this might be just what I was looking for.

I personally do not buy bitcoin clothes, I design it myself even though I am not a graphic design but I love to draw for clothes that I will use even though my drawings are so ugly.

Fair enough, I can't fault you for enjoying what you do and making things yourself. My hopes is that my designs will be at least creative enough for people to happy to wear them.

Especially if you have the advantage in terms of quality, I think it will be very easy to develop.

This is going to be where I place a lot of my interest. Quality is going to be paramount.

Been designing some shirts, sweaters, hoodies, tank-tops and other apparel. I have quite a ways to go, but I just want some general discussion on the topic to see what kind of interest(s) is there. I'm aware that everyone is going to want to see the designs before they can give a definitive answer. I'm just wondering if any of you are willing to part with your coin for some apparel designed by yours truly and support a start-up business that would be taken seriously. I want to build something up that the community also wants to exist, else I'll be working against rather than in collaboration with the community.

Well, this is a great idea. Many new communities will come to you, you do not need to care about other people's ugly words about your thoughts. Especially if you have the advantage in terms of quality, I think it will be very easy to develop.

PS, please be noticed in terms of the quality of clothing that will sell.
