Yes that was me who posted on Dubai.

It's not that expensive really....you can get a flight from the US for $950 and a hotel for $60 per night or so.

If BTC gets to $5000 by Summer than I think the trip will happen for sure.

Also, I am planning on a mission trip to India in the Fall so my calendar is pretty full as of now.

Look up Rpietila. He is investing in a castle in Estonia to serve as a Bitcoin "resort" of sorts. Or perhaps more of a meeting place for Bitcoiners to meet and discuss Bitcoin related business.

Who would be interested in a high end vacation getaway for Bitcoiners?

Not a conference or meeting, but a common vacation time for families.

No pitches or direct business but simply like minded people booking a resort at the same time.

I'm thinking a high end resort in a cool location -- each person pays their own costs and families and people can do what they want -- we'd have some basic meetings when there and people could hang out or talk etc.

I've got some ideas.....just wondering if anyone is interested.
