Thanks for the replies guys.

I might consider it but i agree with the first comment - people prefer faster methods. But this might be worth trying, will keep you updated Smiley

You might want to see this lottery site first: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/taabl-the-original-bitcoin-lottery-is-back-974159 The site has existed for a long time. Popularity dropped a couple of years ago and he is trying to revive it. But I agree with the others. It's not a fast game. And there isn't much a player can do. Or new strategies to try. So most won't be interested.

So I was thinking. Would the gamblers of bitcointalk be interested in a legit lottery?

 - fully escrowed by some reputable member (taking suggestions, I would say tomatocage!)
 - with friendly ticket price but increasing pricepool
 - drawing 6 numbers, you get to choose your own (you know how national lotteries /lotto works), not a winner takes all lottery
 - live weekly or monthly draw (depending on how many people would join) via randomnumber generator - streamed online if possible

If people would join I would even consider making a special web site..

Leave some feedback here i might consider trying out some rounds if some of you are interested.

If you can do coding or have budget to hire a developer, try to create a new gambling website instead of lottery, lottery here always die on release

I would be more interested in a raffle type drawing, where a winner is chosen each time.

People try raffles from time to time but nobody ever seems to participate in them.

There are some users here that already started that kind of lottery with and even used a reputable escrow but it didnt went well, only few players likes lottery

Yup. It's not really worth the time or effort to do these. There's just never any demand so they die on release. I'd try something else because you're almost certainly going to be wasting time doing a lottery or raffle.

There are quite a few lotteries in the forums.

I don't know how well they are doing as I do not play, but you should do some research regarding their operation and see it it's worth it.

I dont think people is interested, im not and i will tell you why, first of all its slow, second you wont win more than just gambling on a casino wich is way faster and you can have fun while you play poker, for example, you dont really have any fun in playing lottery so you might aswell play dice wich is faster and pretty much the same thing. And the lotteries, usually, have even worse odds than dice
