I would also invest in anonymous teams, because I believe that they have more freedom to develop and no one will limit or contrast. But again, it is necessary to have time for a good ICO, as the scams in the anonymous ICO will be much more than usual.

i will invest so long as there is an escrow that will distribute the btc or eth gradually very time there is a new development like beta testing. this use to happen  back in the days. ICO use to have escrows, times had changed since 2016. maybe because some of the team that did an ICO without escrows made some success and that it becomes just an example and the next ico did not also have an escrow some were scams and some quite semi-scamming while they list their token on exchanges.

I can't invest in such an ICO because the team is an important factor in my investment decision. If I can't even open these, then I know there will inevitably be serious loopholes or a big scam. I hope everyone All resist this behavior,...

I will invest on ICO if it's legit but if it's Anonymous then Hell no! i will stay away on that ICO. I will invest my money on great project and not from Anonymous team tho i know it's very risky they will take our money from us. Before investing you must read their whitepaper.

I love to invest in any ICO inasmuch the project has something unique to offer . And the team behind the project are dedicated and vibrant in their effort to build and promote the project. Many projects today offer to do the same thing with others thereby increasing competition in the industry but when a project is unique in its nature it naturally attract investors . Take " TRAXIA " for example = https://www.icoexaminer.com/ico-news/traxia-ico-becomes-first-launch-japanese-ethereum-cardano/https://www.traxia.co/?utm_source=icobench.

Investing in ICO projects is always risky, and only you make a choice. But in the example that you brought, not all are anonymous, but there are, as you said, names and well-known sponsors, for this I think, if only the team has a question and the project is excellent - I would have invested a small amount.

Definitely not. The development team is what I try to research first and foremost, I'd be too paranoid to invest without doing that.

Nope. No. Its a no.
If they want to be trusted, why be anonymous to the public?
People wants to invest in a trusted company. It includes the team behind them.
What would you do with a great project with no face to the public?
You will just waste your money time and effort in investing in a project like that.

There are no great ICO project with an Anonymous dev team and this case is also the same. I think only Shady project want to keep all their team identity anonymous cause it's very easy for them to scam other people money without being caught or facing with the law.

Nope, i wont invest to that kind of ICO because even though the concepts are that beautiful if I cant even know who are the team behind it is a Big NO NO NO because that is might be a high percent of chance of getting scammed.

In this business, all members and founders were form by anonymous identity or profile identity. We are all difinitely hide ourselves in the dark but with a bright future when it comes to financial stability. So therefore, even we don't know who really the people involves here, but we still invest, because the purpose is to earn multiple returns of income. But sometimes, we must careful to transact any business transactions in crypto, we must try to examine first the business name that worth trusted. Because there is a lot of scammers here in crypto business.

I do not currently do that, but I used to do things like that the benefits I get are almost the same as the ico one and the other. with that incident I was up to the time looking for the team but did not find it maybe for some time the team will come back I hope so and the system is still the same as it used to be or better yet.

I can say yes but there are times when it should be careful if the ICO could be a fraud or cheating strategy especially with the unknown team they are definitely planning something we are thinking as the price of the coin suddenly rose and suddenly fell it could be the work of ICO team, so sometimes must be careful when choosing ICO

I really value my anonymity, I don't invest in ICOs I believe in just because it has KYC... I completely understand if someone wants to stay anonymous but if you start a project and expect people to invest in your idea it just seems fishy to want to stay anonymous...
same as me how can i trust my money invest into your project. if you cant even trust us investors with your real identity besides you are the one who need investment why you want to hide your self if its a real project.

Obviously, the term “Great ICO” is subjective, but let’s say that ICO has an excellent concept and product. They even have steady and growing stream of profit and revenue (and can be verified.) They also have big names and notable investors and experts supporting the project. However, the catch is that they are anonymous like the founder of Bitcoin. None in the public would be able to meet or see any of the team members. Would you still invest in this kind of ICO?

Of course you will have a doubt if the founder is anonymous. However, people are always after the profit, so I really think it doesn't matter if people behind it is anonymous. Just take a look at bitcoin as you have said, a lot of people are trusting bitcoin even though Satoshi is still anonymous. If you mean it is really profitable, just take the risk and earn profit from it.

what you say is true
yes, of course every investor always has great doubts including myself. we all know that investing in ico is potentially huge at a loss, it can be a loss of no value or a scam. and this is a prohibitive factor that occurs this end. ico ads, potentially on fraud. although not all of it is deceiving. but in the eyes of the world and the internet this becomes a bad effect.

Apparently no,  Some of the anonymous ICO is  a scam, though bitcoin is also anonymous but, bitcoin was tested and proven already to be a good and honest digital currency, while ICO has a long way to go.. So if ever I encounter an anonymous ICO I would probably not invest on it.

The kind of positives you are providing, make it hard to ignore the ico just because of anonymity, for comparing it to satoshi, you have yourself answered on behalf of almost everyone, as facts speak louder than words.

It's risky, Even if it's a great ICO, it's their plan to collect money and steal it from investors. It's hard to trust now because we do not know what's going to happen so we should be careful. So its no for me.

Investors look for the assurance not of teams or whatsoever but just an assurance not putting the money in the wrong place. Personally I would invest if everything you stated is on the project then that project is true if it is proven already in the real world.

I will not invest in it because the team behind it needs to be good and trust worthy although most of the Ico's are just too risky to invest in. But known or anonymous teams/ members are just likely the same because it will all depend wheter the Ico will succeed or not.

When I invest in ICO, I first look at the composition of the project team, on their merits, past projects.  Therefore, the anonymity of the team is very troubling!  What is the reason to hide their names?  If they are very famous, they could make an additional PR by their own names.  But on the other hand, plus that they do not show frontmen.  It is important for to look at everything else in the project, and how the team goes to communicate.

It is risky and possibly scam. If a team is unwilling to identify itself, token buyers should be very cautious about contributing to the project. While there may be valid reasons to desire this privacy, it is far more likely that their purposes are nefarious

Investing in such a project is an obvious risk. But if he promises a huge profit and is really great, then you can take a chance. I would invest in such a project the amount that I can afford to lose myself. It's kind of a venture investment.

As the team is anonymous, i dont think you can not make sure that the project is great and promissing.
Need to know the team as well to make sure they can promiss the huge profit in the future.

That sounds super risky and a gamble. Everybody can manipulate a person using sweet talks or sugar coating right? I say no to invest to a platform if their team members are anonymous. There are lots of ICO around that offers greater service and a team member who are willing to risk their names to get their investors trust. Try investing to an altcoin that are listed in coinmarketcap, that are more secured than investing to an ICO.

Anonymous team or not it always risky to invest in some ico project because 60% of them turn to scam and failed to success to the market.
A great project need a real developer and product if they want to survive in crypto world. If the team are legit even they are anonymous and have intension to create great project then I will go and invest in that project risky always in the market.

I don't want to invest in ICOs with anonymous team in my own opinion an ICO with anonymous team is more likely to commit fraud or will take your money and run away than those ICOs with team members and also, you must present your team when it comes to SEC registration otherwise they will blacklist the ICO and made it to public.

If the "stream of profit and revenue" can be verified, which would prove its legitimacy, then it is most likely safe to invest in that ICO.

They also have big names and notable investors and experts supporting the project.

If trusted names are involved and this can also be verified, then I don't see any problem. I would likely invest in this project.

However, the catch is that they are anonymous like the founder of Bitcoin. None in the public would be able to meet or see any of the team members. Would you still invest in this kind of ICO?
As always said, there will be risks. And the team's anonymity has a reason same as that of Satoshi's. But many still became rich in the long run..

It's risky business but can pay off. If they are keeping the communication going on, why not? I mean, yeah it's risky but if what they do is good, I can relate to their needs of staying anonymous...

Again icos to be a big speculation thing. none know what will be happening in the future. But at least it may better if we can minimize our risk to investing in the anonymous ico Because that's obviously not get any audit on the codes or even the whitepaper itself.

That is what i will not want to risk at this time, most especially when we now that have scam ICOs getting more. I would prefer to invest in a team with this good qualities and one that i can meet their team whenever i want to. Unlike back in the days when we have lots of legit ICOs that can be trusted.
Now imagine a situation where you have an ICO with a team that can be seen and that one can relate with, but yet failed and now you have an ICO with an anonymous team. Even some scam ICOs have good laid down process, everything well planned and it all looks legit.

Bitcoin is different from the rest of new tokens created, so you should consider changing your question instead. Without Bitcoin in the first there would be no ICO as of now existing and besides this is the future now when Satoshi started to create Bitcoin without asking for investors funds. Satoshi did manage to create his own coins and let everyone use it for their own free will without asking some fees.

Remember some termed Great ICO which possess the said qualities, ratings, support and they even have a decent team but in the latter part of they scammed people well that's the risk of going for an ICO without a proper digging to their projects and the products which are under development, it will always depend on the proper reasoning as to why they need to hide their own faces for their ICO, due to the growing fraud ICO numbers they need to guarantee the integrity of their project and the assurance cause they will need a full trust from their investors to succeed.

Investing in such a project is an obvious risk. But if he promises a huge profit and is really great, then you can take a chance. I would invest in such a project the amount that I can afford to lose myself. It's kind of a venture investment.

I don't see anything great in anonymous ICO for me to invest my money no matter how great the ICO may look like to you or any other person and they are great project there is no point for them to hide there identity from the public.

The only situation where team can be anonymous is - if its an ICO in political field like UNIFY World Revolution ICO, where team members can easilly get assassinated in case of success of revolution.

In other cases its pretty weird for ICO to hide their identities

It was interesting that Bitcoin was an initial digital money and its founders were unknown and anonymous. I want to know the identity of the people who collect money in today's ICOs, i do not trust the ICOs that the anonymous business is organizing.

No. It is very important to know who's behind the project. The names and the pictures of the team members must appear in the whitepaper of the project. Seeing these does not prove that they are legit. Better search their names in Google and find out as much information about their field of expertise, their previous projects and the impact it gave to the community. I don't know if there is someone who will invest in a coin with anonymous team.

By now, the answer is NO, because some ICO have information about team can scams, why i can invest for ICO are anonymous like Bitcoin, and Bitcoin is not ICO, it  is the new technology.

An ICO is always defined whether it is going to be successful by the concept of its project and the team that is behind it, so when investing into one you have to always look up for anything that isn't right so you could avoid getting scammed, because with all this money going into this new type of businesses it is bond to have people trying to trick others into somewhat of a scam, and having a team that isn't made of a bunch of random people who have no experience in the cryptocurrency not so ever, is a key to knowing whether to invest in this ICO or not, so if the team is unknown or anonymous than it is better to void them.

Goodwill of any ICO depends on the team behind it.  Before giving hard earned money to somebody else definitely one must check the capabilities abilities;knowledge of the team who is supposed to manage the project.
Without knowing the team how we can ascertain the project will be success or fail.  A project will succeed only if some experienced learned expert team is there to look after the project.  So one may not invest to anonymous team.

Be carefull to invest, beware of those team you were investing for. It should be legit and it should be known by everyone so that in the end you will not regret it. You shoul had an assurance that the team you are investing for was legit.

bitcoin that already have big names are certainly very difficult compared to ICO. It is indeed doubtful but if you have a lot of real evidence that although the anonymous but can be successful and proven results then it wouldn't be a problem, but of course a vigilance is still necessary.

I don't know. It's risky. If you don't know who they are, you won't want to invest? I mean if the projects have problems, who will take the responbility? But if they are famous and reputable in community, I will rethink.

I don't like ICOs much to begin with, and that would be the final nail in the coffin for me. It is hard enough to trust an anonymous team who is giving out free coins apparently (DeepOnion), don't see an ICO gaining much traction.

Investments in such a project will be very risky and this project is not suitable for long-term investments. But it is quite acceptable for speculation. You say that the project has been progressing well and it is easy to check. Speculators are not interested in the final product. They are only interested in momentary profits and it is a great danger for any project.

Single-valued one answer -  not. When the project does not have its tangible core (team), then even a cold calculation and a thorough study of the product may not lead to the desired result. In general, I would not risk, besides, now the choice of good projects is great, so that you can safely move on to something more tangible.

for me its a no, why? because many ICOs are scam the team behind the ICO is very important that we know them though they have good project and platform, i still need to consider their team identities to ensure that i am investing in the right team and ICO.

If the code is open source like Bitcoin then yeah I would trust them but if the code is private then I wouldn't trust them with anything. With the number of failures and scams the ICOs are having I will never risk my money with them.

Never, the anonymous team means if the ico was including on the suspicious ico. If the team have a product and the team can generate the money through running the product to the public audience. I thought that I have never seen about that. But every data can be manipulated, and I will say no rather than follow others to invest in the ico with an anonymous developer. That's even worse than you think dude.

Remember who u are, what u are & who you represent
Even the ICO which has a team that will visit the whole world promoting their projects, more often fail to reach it's goal or scam people. For me whether the project has an anonymous team or not- it is always 100% risky to invest in their ICO. I always prefer the ICO project which already has working product. To answer your question, if I have money lying around or the amount I can afford to lose then yes I will be investing in such ICOs.

Not all rich men are known public, there are still a lot of anonymous millionaire people especially those bitcoin holders.

It is okay to invest in that project as long as it is great and their team is actively communicating with future investors.

i will invest in this project than an ICO saying the team is composed with SATOSHI NAKAMOTO, we know who is that but never been public.

If Satoshi remains unknown in public and will just reveal himself with just an ICO that's more scam to be.
