Rimbit is more dodgy than a 3 pound note. Everything about it looks scammy, but it must be producing a consistent stream of income to the perpetrators, otherwise they would have stopped by now.

Hell no.  What does rimbit have that the other 30,000 shitcoins don't?   Anser: nothing.  I have better things to blow my money on, and high risk shatcoins ain't one of them.  Who the hell buys this crap?  What would you even do with it once you had it, besides search for a sucker to sell it to?

Bitcoin could have failed just like any other Pre-mine or cryptocurrency that has failed. However, it didnt and thats because of the development and person behind the whole thing. Same thing goes for Rimbit, we are pre-mined but have trustworthy devs and a community (albeit rather small) behind the whole thing! I am almost 100% sure that if someone took a good look at Rimbit they would see its a good investment and the only thing its missing is the userbase/Larger community!

Rimbit has done something meaningful.
They've built a functional social media platform and have a community.

Is that worth $1M?  Maybe.  Steemit got evaluated to $330M.

The premine is always reason for a redflag.  But it has not been dumped in 2 years, so the custodian has demonstrated good faith.

In general bitcointalk has a strong disdain for the premines, but this is pure hypocrisy when you look at all the ICO hype ... ETH much?, got XRP?, waves, lsk, NXT, etc.   Nevermind garbage like Swiscoin.

I still urge caution but Rimbit is not a bad product in my opinion if it can continue to build and improve it's social media platform.

Holders of a coin that ends up being successful will stop caring about premines. I saw people saying premines are shit, but they lucked out with ETH and suddenly Vitalik is cool.

i wouldn't... doesn't matter if it is scam or not, 2 years in crypto and they still didn't do anything meaningful.

That hurts. Why don't you try do something, without 10k BTC from an ICO and then show us your progress?

We have done something meaningful, we are working at 100% decentralization and 100% pre-mine. We are the only currency you can trust, that is pre-mined. Bitcoin took 5 years to get to where it is, Rimbit is in its second year. The more people that know about Rimbit and understand how much simpler and easier it is to use, the higher the valuation will become. I honestly don't see how its not a sound investment.... Our forum has been optimized for the community and is well maintained with tons of projects being discussed. Take a look at the forum, www.rimbit.com

Rimbit never had significant volume and if you see the graphs, you'll notice that it was pumped and dumped at least 5 times. The site looks cool, the presentation too, but I'm not sure if it is a good idea to buy some...

I appreciate all of your comments! Yes you are correct! We are planning on destroying the rest of the RBT that have not yet been sold, by sending them to fake addresses and therefor having them be lost forever. I personally believe that Rimbit has the potential to Rise in value. We also just built our new website at www.rimbit.org

Going to say no. I'd only invest in something of keen interest to me or of something I felt was safer. It's easiest to leverage the news of certain alts, i.e. Nxt's update caused it to like double in value.

They are very stable community, they have encountered a lot of negative comments but still they managed to stay on,but they have to launch usage to their coins, now that they have build up their community,I read they are going to burn some of their coins to minimize the circulation..

I read it, that was Rimbit doing a promotional price on IGG... I don't see anything wrong with it, besides the fact that all of Bitcointalk hates premine...

Rimbit is a Pre-mined coin but has been running for 2 years and is not another "Scam coin" however a quick google search will lead you to one article written by one random person with a biased opionon claiming its a scam. Do your own research please!
