Not something I'm particularly interested (cuz I'm getting crazy sea sickness) but I can see how this is something that might interest somebody. More crypto applications are welcome.

Would you pay your sailing vacation using crypto?
I do not hold my crypto assets in order to spend them on various fleeting pleasures. This is a contribution to my future, to my dream. Maybe in 10-20 years I will buy my own yacht with these savings. And I will sail under my own sails. 
will list you down for future sailing mate,but for now upon restriction because of Covid 19,i guess i will not entertain any travel for the whole year,lets see next year if the situation gets better and sure i will let you know.

I never tried to sailing vacation. But if I want to do that, I will not use crypto to pay because I still prefer to use fiat or transfer to your bank account. I want just to hold my coins than to use to pay something or buy something. Maybe if I have many coins, especially bitcoin, I will use that to pay for the services. But this vacation is one of the interesting vacations which people can try because I am sure that we will get a new experience while sailing.
In my case, crypto is primarily an asset, not a means of payment. I think if I had a lot of coins, it would be quite possible to pay with them.
Hey, this sounds pretty interesting. I never went on a sailing vacation but always wanted to do so. Just one question, isn't getting to cold now? I always assumed things like that would be done during summer? Here it's already autumn and fairly cold. Or would you do it next year? I don't know much about sailing, sorry if I am wrong.
As for payment, I still receive most of my money in FIAT so I would maybe prefer a mixed payment between cryptos and FIAT.
