Foolish idea.  The only fork I would support is one in which a critical flaw threatens the entire bitcoin existence.  For example a 60 round SHA-256 attack has been found and is deemed likely that SHA-256 will be completely compromised in the near future.

Forks for personal wealth are doomed to failure.

I mean why stop there?  Why not fork it so that each block pays out 1 million BTC and then stops in 2 months?  Everyone currently mining becomes a defacto early adopter, the early adopters get massively devalued and everyone in the future loses.

We all will be RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's a very bad idea. I think the rules of Bitcoin shouldn't be changed unless they are threatening its' existence. This new rule might benefit you and some other guys, but hurt others.

If someone would Fork the current Bitcoinchain and removed the Bitcoingeneration after the 8 millionth Bitcon, would you mine for it, so it outruns the original Chain? It sure would rais the Price of all the Bitcoins you allredy own! With how much hashingpower would you help make it happen? Smiley i would mine it with 1 ghash Smiley
