send me one for free and I'd wear it to work Smiley

I wouldn't mind this.

I find this really cool, definitely would wear it.

You can use them to mine other sha256 coins that you can then sell for BTC. I'm sure that they would make more BTC that way than just straight BTC mining with it does. Other wsie it's a pretty cool idea and sue for something likely to go into the bin. I have little old BTC usb miners (not erupters) that could be used in the same fashion. Mine have a nice BTC logo on them.

Id be interested to still sell these - cheap - more as fun / as a gimmick, but I still think people would like to buy them.. would need more volume than 70 tho.

Sure if it looks cool enough
At a bitcoin meetup group it might be a nice idea or a simple working one as a gift
Just because it looks nice and you can recycle it ^_^

Don't let others control your BTC -> self custody
A bit nerdy but i would if it helped to promote the currency...

We, as early bitcoin users, should help to raise awareness of bitcoin, and this is one of the ways to do it. I would wear one to a bitcoin meetup, not going to work with it though.  Cheesy

They actually aren't all to heavy on normal linens.  Perhaps on something really thin like a gown or lace strap they may be a bit much, but they aren't heavy to fabric.  My pin has held up well to my own use.  I'm planning on giving a few things away for bitcoin black friday too if someone wants one but cannot buy them from me directly.

I've turned one of mine into a keychain so I totally dig your idea of a pin.

Kinda sad these things are worthless now. Use to enjoy watching them blink on my desk.

I dunno I think it's kinda heavy and a little big for that purpose.

Yeah they look cool!  Cool

But maybe a little too big and heavy to use as a pin.

Hello Everyone!

I've had wearable block erupter pins available for a while and I originally did this with burned out erupters last year - now that difficulty is sky high and there is likely no real opportunity to make a mining return from them (unless BTC price hits above $1600USD  within the near term [unlikely]), I have some block erupters that are just 'hanging out' not hashing at all.  I attach an ornate safety pin to the back of block erupters and can wear them like a fashion piece.

Would you please take 15 seconds to vote on them so I can have an idea if anyone here would even use them or not.  I've yet to sell any since attending local meetups last year around November. (I only have two listed currently on my site, but can make about 70 of them if anyone were interested. One in Silver, yellow, and even Pink as well (I've also got a few Antminer U1s too but I sort of wanted to keep them for myself and they don't have the B logo so yeah, not as symbolically effective))

[I have this idea right now to get a small solar cell strip that tapes onto the edge of the top of the erupter and possibly feeding it into the power towards the LED on it so that they can occasionally blink - I just have no idea how to make it happen and to keep it cheaply priced {like 20 bucks still}]
