it depends on miners and fees .. sometimes block may relay late, thats when confirmations take time..
It wouldn't delay for a huge amount of time. Miners in PPS pools would be able to delay blocks to make the pool suffer a loss but majority of the network is made up of PPLNS pools.

These things are pretty common, and it happens from time to time.  Don't worry, and just wait -- assuming you have a proper fee, it'll confirm in time.

As for fees, I personally just throw in 0.0001 BTC for every input.  Never had a problem with it.

Well, there were 4 blocks found really close to eachother, now there isn't a block found for over an hour...

It's random, but i guess a block will be found pretty soon.

If your fee was high enough, your transaction will probably be included Smiley

Craig Wright is scammer.
What fee did you use?

I use the recommended fee in Electrum and have not had any problems this side and usually have 6 confirmation within an hour or so.
No. Of confirmation depends upon the blocks mined since your TX.
And recent blocks rook around 1 hour!

No I dont escrow anymore.
maybe its time for a some roids for BTC?

Confirmation times greatly depend on 3 things, one is in your control.

#1 how quickly the next block(s) are found. This is essentially random, but happens on average every 10 minutes, nothing you can do to change that
#2 how many transactions are currently waiting for a confirmation, this depends on several factors, nothing you can do to change that
#3 the fee per kbyte you pay. Miners confirm the highest fee per byte first, because it gives them the biggest amount of coins for the limited space the block offers. By placing a higher fee than others you jump ahead of the queue no matter how many others are in it. The fee slider in bitcoin core usually does a great job predicting a good fee.
