Tim Draper, a well-known Silicon Valley venture capitalist and founding partner of Draper Fisher Jurvetson, was the sole winner in the U.S. Marshals Service’s auction of 30,000 bitcoins that were seized as part of the October Silk Road bust, according to a post on the blog of Vaurum, a bitcoin exchange service in which Mr. Draper is an investor.
