Just journalists coming to work after the weekend and printing the same news that we heard a few days ago, the validity of which is still quite questionable.  It's been quite interesting watching how dated or inaccurate the MSM reporting o bitcoin has been the last few months.
Yes, media is over exaggerating this news and I am also still not considering this news valid. Let’s see what happens in the near future. I don’t think so China is going to skip a big opportunity of leading the crypto market. I hope so China stop behaving immaturely and let the market flourish on peak.

I think that is fake news. But some my friend say some news told about this on forbes... curious now
this is not fake news. you can search on wall street journal. But it doesn't matter for us. Maybe price can fall down but everything will recover soon.

Long as they get paid I guess. No incentive to get real news these days.

i think this is a terrible news and if this happen this will really effect the price of the bitcoin and this will be really a setback for all the cryptocurrencies, on the other hand it will also be good in the way that all the spam ico's and coin should be punished and there will be no more place for them.

WSJ is lagging in the updates. these are rumours from last week. i guess they just got these news Wink

Look at the latest news

http://www.altcointoday.com/chinese-government-official-claims-ico-ban-is-non-permanent/

How integrity do you think this news is? As rumors and news been coming out every few hour and the price just go which ever side depends on how positive/negative the news be

However, i truthly hope that the ico ban is non permanent and soon get regulated. The recent bearish waves price pull is doing some hardwork in correcting the bitcoin price and the marketcap of the whole industry

Aside from ICO Ban, if ICO ban is lifted, exchange ban would not be occur imo

China should end this they manipulations by closing exchangers one and for all. Since last year they have been attacked the market by this treat and any time they do this, people lose a lot, at end this enables people that has insider secret to buy cheap. They taking action by ban the exchange platforms will end this they unreasonable attack on bitcoin and cryptocurrency.

There is a lot of speculation regarding China at the moment. It seems the only confirmed action is stopping ICO's. The rest seems to be rumours but may turn out to be true.
