I will put the results of the whole season here in this post, so that I don't need to create too many posts in case you are not interested.

Billabong Pro Pipeline - Banzai Pipeline, Oahu, Hawaii - Winners Jack Robinson and Carissa Moore

The first round already ended with Jack Robinson from Australia being the champion and leading the championship.

I lost my first bet here hehe

The next event is already happening in Hawaii: Hurley Pro Sunset Beach - Sunset Beach, Oahu, Hawaii

It's time!

If you are not familiar with the Surf Championship, read the old thread, there's all the information
Old thread here: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.59486313

Last season I made a long bet, paying 8.0 odds, and I won betting on the championship winner Filipe Toledo.
So I created the topic again, in case anyone is interested in surfing and betting, here is where you can bet: https://www.betfair.com/sport/surfing
Remembering that you can make the long bet, on the champion of the whole season, and you can also bet on the champion of each round.

You can watch all events free, official livestream: https://www.worldsurfleague.com/

The championship is starting today, here's the schedule:

Here's the odds of the season champion:

Here's the odds of the event champion:

My opinion:
The top 5 surfers is really the favorites and possibly the only ones with real chances to win the title.
Gabriel Medina is back after a almost sabbatical year  Cheesy and he's the main favorite, I think Gabriel, Filipe, Italo and John John will compete for the title, I don't think Jack Robinson can win this year yet.
So my bet will be in Gabriel Medina with 4.5 odds, I'll not put a lot of money because I'll bet in the event too.
