Happens to me all the time I sell items using paypal and, usually new account make disputes. anyone can fake a paypal account or get one. ANY Paypal can reverse. Sender has 45 days to claim dispute. So usually 15-25 days later I'd get email- money frozen on hold- Dispute! bs.

Yes, this is not a affront against the Thread opener here. I just want prove, that trust feedback is nothing worth. Even this user, project was starting small 1 year ago.

And now, with high reputation, he dissapear with more then 300BTC.

You don't actually understand the trust system properly do you. Trust ratings depend upon who are on your trust list, and by default people have the DefaultTrust list as their trust list, so only people on that list actually count to the +- values that you see. If you actually had a look, he does have feedback from others, it's just whether you trust that feedback. Just because people don't have a +- doesn't mean they haven't conducted legitimate trades.

I just warning user to be aware, that's it. And i even say already, if after 45 days nobody claim he is a scammer, i will delete my posts.

Look, i have no intention to blame him, because i even don't know him! And if you read my post well, you will found that i don't do it. Maybe he is a scammer, or maybe not. We will found it out after 45 days.

Even this is not a 0.01% trust. I will tell you a story: I got a PM from a member with about 50 positive trust feedbacks. He offer me a miner from knc (actually offer 4), located in UK for 10BTC. I think ok, price sounds good, feedback looking good, i am in. He say no escrow, because he need the btc fast. Ok, i just ask him: can you send me a picture of the miners? First excuse: ah sorry, i am busy with work, my camera is broken, blabla. Hm...ok, next try. I ask him to let the miner run on my pool for a short time...second excuse: sorry no time for that, i need the btc immediatly, no time for that (WTF?), last but not least (it smells fishy for me already) i ask where exactly the miner are located, i could let a friend went there and meet at a public spot, check the miner and if he give me the ok, i send the btc within seconds, so we could finish the deal within 1 or 2 hour (remember, he would like to deal asap!)

The last answer is the best: he got mugged before so he fear to meet strange people....

Feedbacks are nothing worth until you trade a couple of times with the same trader, because they don't reflect the behavior and the intention of the trade partner at the first time. Even with somebody with 1000 postive Feedbacks i would never trust the feedbacks more then my common sense. Why? What about the REAL owner is not who write with you, what about it is a account hijacker? Or the account owner just allege it's not him?

I see 5 or 6 feedbacks. Wohaa. But his COUNTED feedback is still: Trust: 0: -0 / +0(0)

As i say, let's wait 45 days and check it again. If he got more and more feedback, and over 45 days is nothing happen, i will delete my posts.

Trading with paypal is not a problem if you find someone that is trustworthy. In this case, no one will even want to trade with you (in pp) since you have no trust. There are lots of people (trusted) who trade using pp, and i have a lot of customers trade using that platform.

Does the receiver gets deducted with fee?

I sent a payment with my paypal funded by a debit card and sent as Personal payment. Paypal charges me around 3.4%+0.3usd fee.
Will the receiver also get charged for receiving the fund?

Even with a gift payment paypal charge fees. Lesser, but still fees. So you pay for the fees? And send hundreds or thousends of Dollar without worry of suspection? Maybe you missunderstand the gift payment is only for friends/expenses.

That's what they all say "I don't offer any obviously scam". Also that link provided, I would not want to pay 4.5% exchange fee, and I don't think he wants to either. The site is not working for me, I cannot find any way to sell it. Maybe Im wrong on the site, but I think it's still constructing.

In Regard that you can claim your paypal transaction until 45 days, i can't see any prove of a smooth transaction.

You collect so much coins as you can and after 44 days you claim that your account is gonna hacked. You will get your money back. Even that you have a paypal account without (!!) a creditcard is much more suspecting. Sounds like a proxy paypal, just open for this fraud, reach the 2500USD limit and let the account die, right?

I think you are confused on how chargeback works. That only works if you have a credit card attached to your paypal and you cancel payment through your credit card company.  Paypal WILL RULE AGAINST YOU since you are selling digital goods if you try to cancel payment.  I dont have a credit card attached to my paypal.  It is all paypal funds. Therefore I CANNOT chargeback unless i say its an unauthorized transaction, which is straight lying.  If you are in this to stalk the thread for 60-90 days, that is fine.

Happens all the time. The OP saying he is trustworthy means nothing at the end of the day. Try explaining to Gaypal that the buyer said he was trustworthy and had x amount of trades and see what response you get back.

those people must be buying from new accounts with no history of successful transactions.  Why would I make my paypal account limited for a chance to get funds back?? Sounds dumb.

Do a bunch of small buys with PP, wait 30, 60 or 90 days then do multiple charge backs citing these were unauthorized = $$$$$$ This is why PP is frowned upon. This happens everyday despite multiple warnings and yet it continues. Ever wonder why some have no pity on the scammed? Care to venture a guess?

I've heard that name several times now. Is there an explanation as to what he did? Does nobody trust paypal because of him?

Also Im willing to do micro transactions such as 0.1 or 0.05 to start which is not a lot of inherent risk.  Many people get ripped off trading 10btc at really to good to be true rates and such.

Actually yes, I DID read the entire thread. And I've been ripped off by people claiming to be genuine such as yourself and ended up getting screwed. I'm one of TradeFortress's victims. Which is why I don't trust anyone that claims that they are honest. I'm glad you got 2 trades (as you have claimed). But there is nothing that you have said that indicates that these trades actually occurred. I can say I've got a "300 pound eyeball and can see all the way to Mars" and you can trust me explicitly. But without proof it's nothing more than words.

I'm not singling out you in particular. If you have actually had transaction with people that trust you then I am happy for you. I hope you build even more trust over time. Just remember that for everyone one person that says that are trustworthy and actually are, there are 10,000 people that have their hand in you pocket stealing you blind while they are kissing you.

Agreed. I've also made two transactions via paypal in this forum with the same person. "Beware" of course, trade in small amounts as well but not everyone using paypal for BTC is a scammer or something.

I've already made two SUCCESSFUL transactions.  I understand they can be reversed but some people on this Earth have integrity and I like to believe I'm one of them.

Let's say I sold you some BTC via Paypal. Once you get th BTC into your wallet what's to prevent you from having Paypal reverse the transaction? PP is well-known for doing this at the slightest complaint. You have the BTC AND you get your money back!
