Escrow is nearly impossible for such a transaction unless the escrow himself adds the funds to the account/card. Either party can claim they have a code that they sent/received and that 1) already was used or 2) the other party used the code and I did not. Then what? The escrow basically has no strong evidence for either side.
use an escrow services for this transaction asap.
EDIT: No longer need MoneyPak. Can pick one up at my local store with cash now that it's open.
